It always takes a bit to adjust to a new computer. I love the "All in One" feature for my desktop. My previous desktop was an All in One as well; however, was not compatible with the Windows 11 upgrade. I love the quickness and instantaneous of web pages and favorite sites.

Bottom line: This HP OmniStudio is fine for web surfing, most business apps and light gaming but it lacks the processing and video capacity to do much more than that. It also has a hum/buzzing sound from the fans that are noticeable even when doing light duty functions. It’s not a deal breaker for me but if you are looking for a very quiet system this might not be the best choice. The OmniStudio does have a touch screen that works nicely but as a desktop device I am not sure that is a large benefit. Pros: - FHD Touch Screen - 1 tb of NVMe storage - 16 gb of Ram - Lots of USB ports - Speakers and Camera built in - All in One with a nice stand Cons: - Fan noise - Has minimal processing and graphics capabilities - No dedicated NPU for Ai fans Hardware: This system is built using an AMD Ryzen 540 and its powerful enough for simple task but it will definitely struggle doing anything complex. I’ve included the Geekbench scores below and they are what you would expect from an entry level system. The 16gb of Ram is plenty for a system like this and the 1tb of NVMe storage is more than enough for most users. The video is integrated and handled by the Ryzen 540 and it provides full HD graphics. For watching media and playing simple games this is fine but it will struggle with any complex photo processing. The speakers provide adequate audio and using the web cam you can do video calls quite easily. The FHD display is a IPS panel that is also a touch screen. The screen is bright and colorful and responds well to the touch. On the back there are two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports – Note that one of the USB-A ports are used to support the wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard and mouse both connect via the included wireless dongle. Geekbench 6 scores: Single Core: 1394 Multi Core: 4540 Open CL: 4696

Grabbed this to replace a dying laptop for my daughter. She was using a laptop that was starting to diminish. Mostly it was used on her desk. So this was the solution! Setup out of the box was simple, attach the stand and secure with thumbscrew. Connect the USB wireless device to back and plug in power. Power button is on the back lower corner and away we went. Standard OOtB experience for windows 11. Once that was setup. we did the setup and customizations she wanted. It works really well and performs everything she needs. She mostly uses this for school tasks, music streaming, video streaming and some light gaming. She plays Genshin Impact. It runs all the apps at the same time and efficiently. She really likes the touch screen so when listening to music. Its simple to interact with and not have to find the mouse cursor! Screen size is big enought at just under 24" to push it toward the back of the desk and still have good visibility and not have it take up the desk. And with it being all-n-1 she didn't have to find a place to store the main unit. There is literally not noise. In a silent room, you can just barely hear the whirl of the fan. But it never really elevates to a loud pace. Speakers are there. You won't jam out but loud enough to hear from a few feet away or background noise/music in your room. This is one of those devices I would get a warranty on. I didn't directly see a way to service this or upgrade memory/drive. So its USB expansion only. Knowing what this is and the purpose. I would say its a nice machine that does what you need for everyday use.

I picked this up as I wanted a dedicated computer in our kitchen for recipes, looking up stuff, and watching videos while cooking. This computer is the perfect size and the adjustable stand means I can slide it under my cabinets or adjust later for better viewing. Setup was easy but I did have an issue with the monitor mount connecting to the back of the screen. I thought I had it fully connected but the monitor came off the mount when I adjusted. I really had to press extremely hard to get it to connect. The computer itself is just the usual setup nothing crazy and I did not import data from another computer so the process was pretty quick. One thing I noticed with HP computers is they come with bloat wear and junk apps. I spent about 30 minutes just going through and deleting the junk and disabling startup items. Now its setup to my liking and seems to be working great! I was a little surprised that the display is only 1080p, but its clear enough that its fine for my intended purpose. I do like that it is also a touch screen as that can be easier to use when cooking. I had no issues with the touch screen, and it worked every time I touched the screen, pretty much like a decent tablet. I was really caught off guard by the built-in speakers. They actually can fill a room sound that is loud and clear. They do have limitations, but I do not feel the need to connect to a Bluetooth speaker when I want to watch videos or listen to music. The computer itself is fast and applications open quickly. This computer has a good amount of ram and I did not experience any slowdowns with multiple internet browser tabs open, excel, or word programs. This computer can handle your day-to-day task with ease! I like that they included a wireless mouse and keyboard, but you have to use one of the USB ports to connect these items. It just seems like a waste of a port when they could of used bluetooth instead. Not a deal breaker but just something to notate if you use a lot of USB ports. The keyboard is easy to type on but compact enough not to take up a lot of space. I was a little surprised that the keyboard is not backlight, but maybe that's more reserved for laptops and gaming desktops. The color of the computer is a nice blue, but it has white spots on it that look like dirt. I wish they would have removed the white dots and just kept it the nice blue color. It does look nice in my kitchen as it matches the color of my kitchen island. Overall, this is a nice computer for someone that would like to have an all in one that isn't a laptop. I could see using this every day at work as it's a solid device. I only gave it four stars due to the display not being 4k and the keyboard not being back lit.

The HP OmniStudio 23.8 in full HD All-In-One desktop computer is one of the best PC’s I’ve ever had. The size is perfect and compact being that it’s an all-in-on setup, so it takes up minimum space. It’s lightening fast when processing data. Sound produced from this compact PC is nothing like I’ve heard from something this sized. Last but definitely not least if have a phenomenal display that’s most definitely top tier. The physical setup of the HP OmniStudio was very straight forward and it came packaged with well thought-out instruction. The packaging was very good and sturdy to not allow damage to the unit even if dropped while transporting. The usb mouse and keyboard also came with the batteries required. Once I had my pc in place, I moved on to start up. Startup was very easy, as the HP All-In-One walks you through the process step by step. You can add as much of the preinstalled material to it as you want or bypass it for later installation if you like. Just like any new pc start up the process is a bit time consuming but a vital part for making sure it is how you like it. All in all, the process took roughly twenty to thirty minutes. The compact design allows for maximum space utilization and with out having a huge tower sitting under or on top of your desk area you have it all confined to one unit. This is great and with that space savings, it can be used for whatever you need, such as a work space, reading area or extra storage. My oldest is really into making music videos and having a fast processor and ample storage for files while working is a must. It was said that the ease at which this HP process big data packages way out perform their much more expensive laptop. I have personally used it for gaming and I will say that I have not seen a glitch or lag in this desktop. I have also, tested it to see how well it streamed movies and it is very exceptional at that task as well. The sound of the dual stereo speaker set up is extremely good. I was not expecting it to sound as good as it does. Obviously, it’s not a surround sound hifi stereo, but they did impress me. Crystal clear vocals and music play very well through them. HP has done their homework on this display. For it only being 23.8 inches, it looks amazing, colors are vivid and pretty true. I have noticed that, for some reason I don’t feel the eyestrain I get when using a laptop of my cellphone. The viewing angles are great especially when sharing the screen during while browsing social media or watching funny video clips. I will go on to say that this is a top notch all in one pc that HP has produced. My entire family loves it and it has been utilized everyday since setting it up. I 100% recommend it to anyone looking to have a wonderful desktop with tons of power, great viewing and exceptional sound quality.

The diminutive size is both the biggest feature of this computer and also its weakest link to becoming truly great all-in-one. Overall, this PC is cute. This model is the Denim Blue model. The included wireless mouse and keyboard are also Denim Blue, a subtle nod to that fruit company that makes a similar device. HP’s Omni Studio All-In-One desktops come in a variety of sizes and technical configurations. This model is the base introductory model, designed for the simplest of computing tasks utilizing the AMD Ryzen 5 40 CPU with onboard Radeon Graphics. At 23.8 inches, this 1080p screen is built with barely visible bezels. The display is bright and crisp and supports streaming HDR content, but the GPU is not capable of gaming in HDR. The built-in speakers are adequate and the built-in webcam is a 1080p webcam that supports Windows Hello. The one hardware flaw with this device is the monitor stand. The latching mechanism to connect the monitor stand to the monitor is unlike any other method I’ve seen on other computing products and it is terrible. It doesn’t click or secure into place like you might expect. After a great deal of effort, it is attached, but I try not to touch the monitor for fear that it’s going to fall off the stand. Another flaw here is that the monitor only adjusts up or down, there is no tilt adjustment capability nor can you swivel the monitor without moving the entire base. During my benchmark testing you can start to hear the whir of the fans during the stress testing the benchmark software performs, but under normal conditions its remarkably silent. On the rear of the panel, this model includes two 10Gbps USB-C ports, one 10Gbps USB-A port and two USB-A ports. You’ll immediately lose one of the USB-A ports when you connect the included wireless keyboard and mouse. 1GB Ethernet is included as is an external speaker plug. There’s also an HDMI port allowing you to add a second display. The unit ships with a Wifi 7 adapter from Realtek but it does not support 6Ghz.

It is a challenge getting used to the new product. I was surprised that my favorites on line weren’t copied to this new computer but I was warned that not everything would be the same.

i like the screen but the sound is not good i tried adjusting but the speakers sound like i am inside of a tin can. after adjusting i still can not get a good sound acceptable at best.

Works well. compact . Nice not to have so many cords and cables.

The problem was that after having all my data transferred from my old HP All-in-one to this new one, and going to pick it up at the store, we found that the pedestal was defective. Since that had to be returned to HP, I had to wait 2 more days for Best Buy to transfer my data to another new one. It is more compact than my last HP All-in-one and not as heavy. I am still trying to decipher and remove some of the added things that I do not want or use.

My first all in one. The fan is pretty loud. Overall my favorite feature is that you can slide the screen ( adjustible height) and tilit.

This item is just a better version than my previous computer with more features.

Switching from a Mac there was a slight learning curve. Now I like how much I received for less.

This HP OmniStudio is a very nice mid-range performance everyday computer. The absence of the traditional PC box is a big plus. Everything is now contained in the monitor. With its matching wireless keyboard and mouse, it has a clean, compact aesthetic suitable for a smaller desk or workspace. The blue color is a nice change from boring black. Also, it's very quiet, there's no fan, therefore no fan noise. The 23.8 1920 x 1080 FHD IPS panel touchscreen is anti-glare and has excellent color and brightness. It has dual stereo speakers also contained in the monitor that are adequate but the DTS:X sound is better with a decent set of headphones. Also included is a 1080p built-in camera and built-in mic. The camera has a manual slide shutter for privacy. This computer comes with Windows 11 Home that requires a bunch of updates on initial set up. That seems to be the trend lately not just for Windows but also for the manufacturers. It has prompted for at least three separate updates since initial setup. Those updates should always be installed to make sure you're getting the full functionality intended. This computer is equipped with quality mid-range components - AMD Ryzen 5 4000 series CPU, AMD Radeon integrated graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X memory and 1TB SSD storage. Besides the typical Windows apps HP has an app that I really like. It's HP TV+. It's a streaming app that has entertainment, news, sports, and movie channels. If you buy this computer, check it out. The keyboard and mouse communicate wirelessly via USB transmitter that's included. Also included are 4 AAA batteries, 2 each for powering the mouse and keyboard. Both have On/Off buttons. The monitor height is adjustable, and it also swivels easily on its base. The keyboard is a somewhat compact ten-key, meaning it has a number pad. The unit has adequate ports with 2 USB-C 3.1, 1 USB-A 3.1, 2 USB-A 2.0, 1 HDMI 2.0, and 1 ethernet and headphone port. The power cord plugs into the back of the monitor and the power button for the computer is on the back right hand side of the monitor. In short this is a good-looking, well-equipped computer for home, school, and entertainment that is competitively priced.

It took months of repair to this computer and I do not have it back yet to see if it has been fixed properly.

It comes with the 4-core AMD Ryzen 5 40 processor, 16GB LPDDR5X memory at 5500MHz, 1TB PCIe SSD, and integrated AMD Radeon graphics. As an all-in-one PC, all the components are built into the screen which means there is no separate case that you will have to find room for on or under your desk. This saves a lot of space and makes the system much more versatile when it comes to using it in areas with limited space. Speaking of the screen, it is actually a touchscreen which is a nice added feature. One of the other things I really like about this particular system is the adjustable stand which makes it easy to get it set to just the right position for me and my use case. When it comes to performance, this HP OmniStudio PC works very well despite not having many of the higher-end components that are on the market today. Including such high-end components would have significantly increased the overall price of the system and I feel like as it is, it hits the sweet spot between providing quality components at a decent price. It easily handles all my everyday computing needs which often includes having multiple windows and programs open and running at the same time. It does this all while remaining pretty much noise-free due to its fanless design. Some of the other notable features are the built-in dual speakers, both Wi-Fi 7 and wired ethernet connectivity options, and 1080p webcam. Overall, the HP OmniStudio 23.8” all-in-one PC is great and I highly recommend it!
