Q: Where are the exhaust vents located?
A: This is a fanless design, so has no fan vents. Being fanless, it will also have no noise during even intense operation.
A: Yes - when in tablet mode the speakers are technically covered but while the sound volume reduces it isn’t muffled. It was a concern I had prior to buying but I use wireless headphones most of the time so it was a trade off that I could live with. The gracefulness of going from laptop to tablet without having to bend the screen backwards was worth it to me. It is the closest experience to having my iPad in my hands that I have found. I like the fact that the keyboard is completely covered when I am I. Tablet mode and not resting on my lap.
Q: Does this laptop have a finger print reader/scanner?
A: No fingerprint reader, but it does have Micrsoft Hello facial recognition; It works very well, even in the dark (unlike Apple Face Id).

Q: Where are the speakers located? Top or bottom?
A: It's on the keyboard, above the keys.
A: Verizon probably won't carry it - most of the carriers don't sell laptops. I'm going to assume it's unlocked, because per PC World it will work on AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. ...not sure why Verizon isn't listed; but, if it's unlocked it will likely work.
