I’m not normally the type to complain about products, but I did want to use this review to offer a warning to potential buyers. I bought my HP Victus laptop about nine months ago and for seven months, it worked great! At such a low price point, I was surprised with how smoothly it ran various games, even recent releases, and it of course worked fantastically for non-gaming needs as well. The graphics are great and it packs a punch for a small size and again, a GREAT price point. However, after only a few months, some issues began to occur. Randomly, the laptop would shut down and restart or temporarily black screen. One such instance even required putting in a BitLocker Key, which was a pain, and to date I am uncertain why this issue occurred. Most recently and frustratingly, however, my laptop completely shut down and refused to power back on or even indicate it was charging. I have since sent it to non-Best Buy support and have learned the motherboard was fried. I don’t believe I pushed this laptop past what it was meant for, and after only having it for seven months, a complete breakdown of a key component feels inexcusable. Now I’m left without a laptop for gaming or any other activity until a new motherboard is installed, and who knows how long it will last after that? I’d suggest using the laptop with some caution and pay attention to any random shut downs or reboots unrelated to system/Windows updates because it may indicate a worse problem on the horizon. Hopefully I will have my laptop back soon as I really enjoyed it while it worked, and I hope your experience is more consistently positive than mine if you choose to buy! :)

Great product does not have to much memory but great for my personal taste and needs. For the price it works also would recommend to others

I bought this specific model after I had to rearrange my living space. I had no room for a desktop anymore but this laptop filled in the void. Performance is amazing, I can multitask and run almost every Triple A game without much issue. Only thing I suggest you do is upgrade the ram yourself which shouldn't be too hard to do. I highly recommend this laptop for anyone looking to game without needing a whole setup.

"Budget-Friendly" option but great performance overall

This is my first Windows laptop I've worked on in several years, and I feel like it's a good purchase.
