I recently got my hands on the HP Victus laptop, and I've got to say, I'm pretty impressed. First off, the performance is top-notch. With its powerful processor and ample RAM, this laptop breezes through tasks, whether I'm multitasking, gaming, or editing videos. Not only does it pack a punch in terms of performance, but it also looks sleek and modern. The slim design and vibrant color options make it a standout among other laptops. Plus, the backlit keyboard adds a cool aesthetic touch while being practical for late-night typing sessions. The display is crisp and vibrant, perfect for binge-watching my favorite shows or immersing myself in gaming adventures. The fast refresh rate ensures smooth visuals, making the overall experience highly enjoyable. One thing that pleasantly surprised me is the battery life. I can easily get through a day of work or classes without worrying about constantly plugging in. It keeps up with my demanding usage, which is a huge plus for an on-the-go lifestyle. The only minor drawback I found is that the fan can get a bit loud when the laptop is under heavy load, but it's not a deal-breaker for me considering the overall performance and value this laptop offers. All in all, the HP Victus laptop is a solid choice for gamers like me who need a powerful and stylish device for work, entertainment, and gaming. It ticks all the right boxes and delivers a great user experience. Thumbs up from me! Hope you find this review helpful.

I recently purchased the HP Victus and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This laptop has truly exceeded my expectations in every way, making it an excellent choice for gamers and productivity enthusiasts alike. First and foremost, the performance of this laptop is outstanding. The Intel Core i5 processor combined with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card ensures that all my gaming needs are met with ease. Whether I'm playing the latest AAA titles or running resource-intensive applications, this laptop handles them effortlessly, providing smooth and lag-free performance. The 144Hz Full HD display is a game-changer, delivering stunning visuals with vibrant colors and incredible clarity. Gaming and watching movies have never been so immersive! The 8GB of memory and 512GB SSD are a perfect combination for quick load times and efficient multitasking. I've had no issues running multiple applications simultaneously, and the SSD ensures that everything loads in a flash. It's a significant improvement over traditional hard drives and makes a noticeable difference in overall system speed. The laptop's cooling system does an excellent job of keeping temperatures in check, so I never have to worry about overheating. Portability is another strong suit of this laptop. It's relatively lightweight and slim, making it easy to carry around, whether I'm heading to a friend's place for a LAN party or taking it to work for some on-the-go productivity. Furthermore, the battery life on this laptop is surprisingly good, considering its gaming prowess. I can get several hours of use on a single charge, which is impressive for a gaming laptop of this caliber. In conclusion, the HP Victus has been a fantastic addition to my tech arsenal. Its impressive performance, stunning display, and sleek design make it a top choice for gamers and professionals alike. If you're in the market for a gaming laptop that offers excellent value for your money, I highly recommend giving the HP Victus a try.

The value for the money is impressive! That being said, I picked this up during Black Friday, and got it at a very discounted price. Would I pay full price? Probably not honestly. I would pick up the newer varient for about the same price. The processor is very strong and quick, and the RTX 3050 is good enough for most of my light gaming duty tasks. I installed 32gb of RAM before it was fired up the first time, just for my piece of mind. It was a cheap upgrade. Installing said upgrade was about as difficult as I'd expect, removal of the back cover plate. The screen is crisp, and nice. 144hz. With the RTX 3050, you probably wont see 144 frames consistantly honestly, but the frames it does produce come across smooth without tearing even as rates bounce around. It produces quite a substantial amount of heat under full load (while plugged in). A cooling desk would be recommended. I dont believe in "its designed that way so its good". I was seeing thermal throttling, which is never good for anything. I love the finish of this product, although it is annoying difficult to keep clean. The battery life is atrocious, but thats obvious with any gaming tier laptop (read: with a GPU). The cpu/gpu package consumes so much power that there just isnt enough battery in the world to keep it charged long. If you dont game, and just browse the web and such, youll get a solid 3 - 4 hours out of the battery. All in all, its a pretty good laptop. It has the drawbacks of putting performance in a laptop, which is to be expected. Outside of that, it performs well, the battery lasts a reasonable amount of time if you dont game, and it multitasks like a champion.

So far I am loving this laptop!! Can easily run games like overwatch, valorant, and genshin. When in gaming the laptop does get a lil warm, but not hot. The fans do make noise, but it literally sounds as if you had your fan on in your room. When gaming the fans also switch speed sometimes. So itll go from being quiet to loud suddenly. When im doing school work like using google docs, or just google, the laptop is quiet and makes no noise. Overall for the price I am quite happy. Only downside I guess would be the space. And upgrade the ram if you can. Battery life isnt the all time best, but gaming laptops arent known for thier battery life. It does charge fast though, and if im just using it for simple things like school work i do get a few hours. Definetely recommend this laptop.

Build quality is actually great for the price, dont listen to what random YouTubers say about it its actually good, the performance is solid right out the box no problems running Fortnite or Apex on med settings, i upgraded the ram to 32gb from the original 8, easy upgrade, my only concern with the laptop is the lack of storage upgrades besides that no problems. I'd recommend to friends.

Overall very impressed by build quality. The cpu is the newest generation i5 and the rtx 3050 reasonable at this price range. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the laptop feels and they really nailed the keyboard. The cooling system looks very elegantly designed and I love the considerations put into airflow. I did find the 250 nit screen brightness left more to be desired even indoors but at 144hz and the price point it’s hard to gripe about. One grievance I have though is the fans have a slight whistle when the fans are on. It can be mostly avoided by turning off “Fan Always On” in bios but it is an issue I’m hearing about from others that have bought this laptop as well.

I bought this for $550 when it was on sale during black Friday and it’s an absolute steal at that price. It plays any game I want at 1080p with high/ultra settings and get 30-60 fps easily. I also use this laptop for game development in Unity and it is amazing for that as well. I recommend buying another ram stick for $20 to upgrade it to 16GB of ram at least since 8GB is a bit low nowadays. The only cons I can think if are that the usb ports and aux port are quite stiff, and I don’t like that the power button is placed in the middle of the keys near the top of the keyboard. I prefer when the power button is isolated to the far edge of the laptop. I also wish it would have included a second ssd slot to add more storage, but with the USB-C port you can buy an external SSD and that should do the trick too. Overall, great laptop if you can get it for less than $600, best deal you’re going to find at the moment.

Laptop is really good for a more budget friendly low mid tier desktop. Its best when used plugged in. Also being able to upgrade the ram is useful i went with 32gb its best to get 16 or 32gb. 16gb for just working. 32gb for coding, gaming, editing. Since it uses more memory. Performance is really good. Sometimes some games can make it a bit too loud since its rather not the newer cores and whatnot given its all small to fit in a laptop. So if your playing mid demanding games alot its your type. For high demanding you could but can get loud/ hot for extended use. Battery life is a little bad but since it has more power demanding parts it makes sense. Overall really good

Very good laptops! I really liked. I used for college (studying an engineering) and personal projects.

I love it a lot it is very nice for light gaming probably could handle more than I want to use it for but modded Minecraft, lethal company, and overwatch (on high/ultra settings) run perfect on it I wish I found this before my pc because I use my pc as a stream pc and my laptop runs the game I stream now, it gets a little loud and sometimes a bit hot as you would expect battery is kind of sad in my opinion sometimes it will die if it’s unplugged for a day or two even without use but it is definitely worth how much it is

Serving me well. I don’t use it a ton but the high refresh rate screen is nice to have. I don’t love how heavy it is (5 lbs) and a nitpick I have about the keyboard is that the lights mostly bleed through the edges and are quite bright and harsh on the eyes at about a 45 degree viewing angle, but viewing it from above its fine. But this thing has an HDMI out, numerous USBs, and it runs games alright. Any intensive games will need to be played at low settings, and smaller indie games can be played from medium to high. This thing is classy, and worth the price point of 500$ or below if you are in the market for something a little beefy at the cost of weight.

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about this HP laptop – it's an absolute gaming beast! Seriously, I've never experienced such speed and performance while gaming before. Whether I'm battling it out in the latest FPS or exploring vast open worlds, this laptop handles everything like a champ. The graphics are insanely crisp, and the gameplay is buttery smooth. Plus, with its powerful processor, there's no lag or stuttering whatsoever. It's like I've got a gaming rig packed into this sleek, portable package. HP really knocked it out of the park with this one – gaming has never been this fast and fun!

Really great! It has good graphics and runs smoothly for the most part. I am not an expert by any means. The only thing is that sometimes the wifi option just disappears and you have to hard restart the computer which took me forever to figure out. Ignore the stickers in the picture, I’ve had it for a year now!

At the price point on which I buyed for 550 usd, I think its the best find you can ask for. Rtx 3050, not very heavy, good for gaming and programming, great for movies and streaming. Overall a solid laptop with no better competition at the price of 550usd. Great find and anyone looking for gaming laptop without breaking the bank, should consider this one.

I have this laptop for over an year now still running like it’s brand new if you want to play games like gta,fc25,call of duty etc on high graphics I recommend to a 16gb ram stick to the 8.

This is my first gaming laptop. It’s also the first Windows laptop I’ve had in several years. I was on the fence for a while deciding on a laptop that was at least decent for gaming without also breaking the bank. Then, I came across this laptop. I actually bought online to pick up in store without even testing it out first. At first I was disappointed because there didn’t seem to be a way to have the keyboard light up. However, once I figured out that it does light up, I was even more satisfied with my purchase. Do I wish it had a little more RAM? Sure, but considering I play games like Sims & Powerwashing Simulator, the specs that this laptop possesses does the job and then some. The only thing that I don’t particularly like is the trackpad. It tends to click in ways I don’t intend to, but there’s a reason wired & wireless mice exist!

The HP Victus gaming laptop has exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Its powerful performance, driven by the latest hardware, delivers a seamless gaming experience with impressive graphics and responsiveness. The sleek design not only catches the eye but also houses an efficient cooling system, preventing any overheating during extended gaming sessions. The keyboard is a gamer's dream, providing tactile feedback and customizable RGB lighting. The display is vibrant, offering stunning visuals that bring games to life. The laptop's portability is a bonus, allowing me to take my gaming adventures on the go. HP Victus strikes the perfect balance between style and substance, making it my top choice for gaming laptops. Highly recommended!

This is a great laptop for the price paid, but not excellent. Most new gen games like Fortnite need to be set to lower quality settings to run well, and the screen is noticeably dark compared to other laptops. Even when not running games, the battery life is no longer than 2-3 hours under most conditions. I'd only buy this if, like myself, you can't afford anything else.

This laptop is awesome. You’re going to need more space though to play video games. I had to get another ram stick to have the space available for my steam games. Nvidia & Intel got the graphics going crazy. It runs really quickly.
