The heavy-duty aluminum mesh frame helps the panel hold its shape, while the porous ceramic-type coating absorbs water evenly to maintain proper hydration for the evaporation process. Each pad measures 10 in x 13 in x 1 3/4 in and installs quickly by removing the old panel and sliding the new one into the scale control insert with the colored marker facing up. For optimum performance, replace about every 6 months, or more often in hard water areas, to keep your bypass humidifier running efficiently.
