This does not produce the advertised output

The product advertises 12V 2A output but my modem/router setup which requires this output will not run on this. Plus it runs hot which concerns me leaving it unattended. By the time I was able to test it out for the modem/router at my cabin it was outside of the Best Buy Return window. I guess you get what you pay for. Spend a little more and get something that exceeds your minimum voltage requirements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
