I have only had the Hydrow for a short period of time and have completed 8 work outs so far. I love the workouts, they definitely work the majority of your body, and mine is pretty out of shape, so this is challenging but well worth it. The athletes are amazing so far, very knowledgeable, energetic, funny, and encouraging. I am very interested in the live workouts as well as some of the off rower workouts (stretching, yoga, etc), but want to focus on the rower for now to get a routine and reach a better level of fitness. The design of the product seems excellent, comfortable and very sturdy. The touchscreen works great and there are tons of options to pick from. Almost an overload at first for me, but I have focused in on some of the beginning rower courses for now. It was easy to put together but is definitely a two person job as it is very heavy and awkward to manipulate when the legs are not installed. The box was very large and everything was in a single box. It would not have fit in our SUV so luckily they did not have one in stock at the time of purchase, we would have needed our truck. Best Buy delivered it to our home and dropped the box off where we asked them to so we could unpack and put it together. Connecting tow sets of Bluetooth headphones was easy. So far we have been unable to connect our heart monitor chest straps, but we use our Apple Watches for tracking our workouts. There is an app that lets you look at your progress, check out workouts and update your photo for your profile. You can create multiple profiles on the Hydrow for multiple users. I can hardly wait to advance and get more fit, this is a great addition to our home gym for sure and is one of my favorite pieces of equipment I have ever purchased.

Quieter than most rowers and so far seems durable and well built. Easy to set up yourself but heavy to move. You do need to have the monthly membership to use which is worth it. Some of the videos provide different views as you are rowing which keeps you engaged. Live classes, on demand classes or just yourself rowing down a body of water to keep you motivated. Overall glad I made the purchase!

I did a lot of research and this one kept coming up on top. I've never rowed in my life, but I wanted a full body workout. That's why I went with the Hydrow over a Peloton. I've only had it for one day, but I am actually excited to use it again and again. It's $38 plus tax extra each month for their videos, and totally worth it IMO. Great teachers guiding you through a fun workout. UNPACKING TIP: The cardboard edges are like razors. I got a few paper cuts while taking it out of the box. I would recommend wearing gloves, or at least go slow and watch the edges. Also, be sure to use the 2 washers in the correct order on each of the 4 bolts when putting on the leg that comes detached. Easy setup and fits perfect in the corner of my den.

The Hydrow Pro Row is an outstanding workout machine. Its sleek design and user-friendly interface make it perfect for any indoor gym setup. This has been compared to as the Peloton of rowers, but it is much better as rowing activates more muscles. I’ve been rowing on various machines for years at gyms, this one is solid and constructed very well. I love how quite it is, and how the pull feels. The screen is large and the content is great to keep you motivated. I wish it would sync heart rate with my Apple Watch. I work for Best Buy, but bought this on my own and did not get paid to review this. My review is my sole opinion.

Great variety of workouts, pretty quiet and easy to adjust and move to save space

This thing is an absolute BEAST!!! Solid build quality, beautifully designed, Intuitive interface, gorgeous fit and finish and it will make you LOVE ROWING and COMMIT 2 CHANGE! I haven’t missed a day in my 28 days and I’m about to cross the 100K mark!

Awesome machine. This is definitely the “Peloton” of rowing so expect to pay a monthly fee to get it with the full experience. The machine itself is heavy but very sturdy and sleek. I would highly recommend this only if you are in it for the live classes, otherwise, save some money and get the Concept2 or WaterRower

I loved the original Hydrow and gave it up when I moved. The Wave has become the perfect alternate. I’m so happy rowing again. It’s just small enough to fit. Rowing feels just as good. Smaller screen seems more fit to size too. Seen comments about a noisy seat but I haven’t been able to tell (I do use AirPods). The Wave has been a homerun and getting me to exercise once again.

Really fun way to get some exercise indoors. I have been thinking about buying for months and I’m pleased with the quality. I enjoy the coaches, following my stats, and competing in the team competition. The large screen is great!

Incredible exercise machine. Great design, sleek lines, and amazing workouts. The digital membership is totally worth it because the coaches/videos are top-notch. Pricey, yes, but lives up to the reputation.

My purchase of the Hydrow Wave was one of the smartest purchases I’ve ever made. This machine gives you a total body workout, while being completely low impact. I hate exercising and never thought I’d find anything that I truly enjoy, but I was wrong! This is my new favorite thing to do!

The Hydrow wave has been great! And don’t let anyone fool you into thinking you need to get their subscription. I’m sure their classes are great. However, I have been using the Just Row feature with Apple Fitness just great. I also subscribed to Dark Horse Rowing on YouTube for help with technique. The Hydrow wave is an excellent machine and paired with Geeksquads 5 year protection it’s unbeatable.

This is the best purchase I’ve made for myself in a long, long while. Delivery was great, setup was easy, but actually having something I my own home to help in meeting my fitness goals in such an enjoyable way is priceless! Worth every penny.

Love the Hydrow. Great low impact workout. I really like that the classes are not in a studio but out on the water or in a beautiful location. Makes it super motivating to workout.

My first rowing machine, great full body workout. Enjoy the trainers while working out, it differently makes the workout more enjoyable! The machine is very solid and stable.

Love this thing! Ordered online from Best Buy and it was delivered and taken in the basement the next day for free. I set it up in 20 min. Most of the time was unwrapping it. It is interactive and fun. Really hard for me to to get the proper row down but athletes on videos helped a lot. Leaderboard and community adds to value. It is pricy with membership but for someone who struggles working out I am a fan. It's a great work out!

I love the Hydrow! For me, this was A LOT of money & worth every penny. If water is a motivator for you, get the Hydrow!
