I really like this laptop. I’m an engineering student and needed something with a lot of storage and high speed. I haven’t started my semester yet but so far it works well with Outlook. The only that is stopping me from giving five stars is the battery. You can’t have the brightness too high or the battery drains quickly.

This laptop is totally amazing. I have always bought HP Omens, mainly desktops. I originally purchased the HP Omnibook 3 with the Intel Core 7 for my work as a counselor and for my college courses. What a disappointment. My HP-213w Desktop was faster, and could handle more. The AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX (2025), 24GB Memory and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 blow that Omnibook out of the water. AMD chips are the best. The Ryzen 9 8940X is phenomenal. Its npu integration far exceeds anything an Intel cpu can do or handle. Experience over my years with computers has taught me that AMD and HP Omens will always surpass and Intel driven laptop or PC. This is an amazing laptop. One that will exceed all expectations and more than meet my needs in counseling and the AI integration that is required and standard now and definitely meets the changes to AI in my profession in the future

No complaints so far, really fast and extremely clear screen

It does have power, but lasts less than 3 hours on battery. I had purchased an Apple MacAir and couldn't get used to the Apple OS so I returned it in store. I was trying to do BestBuy a favor by buying another laptop from in store inventory. I asked for an Asus ROG G15 Zephyrus but not in stock. So, I bought this power hog. Not happy with it. Battery life is a big deal for me. I have a 2020 ASUS G15 ROG with 40 gigs of ram, 2 SSD slots, a Ryzen 4950 HS processor and Nv idia Rtx videocard. It lasts over 6 hours on battery, does video editing without breaking a sweat, gets over 100 fps on WOT. (6 hours battery life is surfing and light tasks, not playing games) The ASUS also doesn't weight a lot. Just an all around better laptop.

This HP OMEN 16 is an excellent gaming laptop. The Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 5070 graphics card deliver fast, smooth performance for demanding games, video editing, and multitasking. The 2.5K OLED display is definitely one of its strongest features, offering sharp images, vibrant colors, deep blacks, and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate. The 24GB of memory and 1TB SSD also provide plenty of speed and storage. It is a powerful, well-balanced machine that performs exceptionally well. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it.

Battery life is good, works really fast. The games run smoothly. Makes everything go well

Good build quality, its pretty, great screen and have had zero issues running games. Its not the most portable. Only downside is subpar battery life.

My son loves it for gaming and love that it one of the few gaming laptops that is EPEAT gold certified

I have a HP Chromebook laptop, but I could not use that laptop to download AutoCAD and complete my drawings for school.
