The HyperX Origins 2 1800 is exactly what I wanted: a full‑size keyboard that doesn’t eat up full‑size space. The 1800 layout keeps the numpad but the footprint is barely bigger than a TKL, which makes a huge difference for desk space and mouse room. The HyperX Red linears feel great — smooth, fast, and consistent. RGB is extremely bright, and the translucent housing makes the lighting stand out more than most boards. Build quality is solid and the weight keeps it planted. Software is the only weak spot. NGENUITY is simple and gets the basics done, but that’s about it. If you want a compact full‑size board with great switches and standout lighting, this one delivers. The smaller footprint alone makes it worth it.
