SO BRIGHT! but Wired warm spots?

[Employee of bestbuy] Easily the bright mouse pad I've seen and I LOVE it. Only complaint I really have is that under my mouse and keyboard there is two small warm spots in which I do worry about for the future.

Great idea, poor execution

I so desperately wanted to love this. Excellent size, great software which allows endless customization. The power adapter is in an optimal location. However, it refused to lay flat. Even tried setting 2 15lb weights on top to try and force it to adapt it's shape. Had a permanent bend in it that ultimately affected my mouse not being recognized when I tried to swipe. Returned for the Razer Strider Chroma. While more expensive, it actually lays flat.
