Had it quite a while and it does what it’s meant to. Quality wise it’s really not the best. It does, however, have the right tools. This is the only way to get electronics tools easily and locally.

These have come in handy on so many different occasions around the home. I love the packaging it comes with and how all the items are neatly organized. This has definitely been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I’ve had to take apart various things around the home and I always seem to have what I need in this set, from a squeaky dryer to a door that wouldn’t open anymore. If you’re tired of having tools all around the house and want a better solution then this might be the set for you! (Of course review all the things it comes with to see if it meets your needs first)

Bought this to have a handy tool kit for around the house and it has very much served that purpose. It's great for quickly opening up anything from a controller, a toy, to even a game console. The quality is great as I would expect from an ifixit product.

i repair about 5 laptops per day on average, my essentials kit has lasted me the better part of 3 years, i have had to replace about 4 bits due to wear but I am a very heavy user, for are 30 Buck you just can not beat that deal

Awesome kit! So far I've used to upgrade my 2020 (2018) Mac Mini from 8 GB to 64 GB, replace the digitizer glass in a PC tablet, upgrade to a SSD and add more RAM to a ASUS laptop, and do some repairs to an HP Envy All-In-One and it's had all the tools I've needed. All the tools have held up and still have a lot of life left in them. For what I've done it's had everything I need. I bought the larger kit and returned it when I found this one.

This has been pretty handy. Not only for computer work, but great for small appliances, toys, and other products with small screws to deal with.

I bought this kit to originally open my laptop to update the ram. Kit came complete with anything you would need to get the job done. The tools are of good quality and they are firmly secured in their packaging. You get multiple screwheads for all types of jobs. I am highly satisfied with the product. Also visit ifixit website for tutorials. They are very informative and very helpful.

Picked this up with an eye toward upgrading the RAM in my fiancée's new laptop, and have ended up using it to complete upgrades on three different machines, with an eye toward one more. With all the different screwdriver tips, I may even tackle battery replacement on some dead wireless gaming controllers. Well worth the money.

I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro that had basically became so slow that I didn't even power it on anymore. I watched a couple videos on swapping out RAM and adding a SSD, purchased what I needed and did it myself. I really woke up the old Macbook. It was simple and now I have my on Laptop back. The little tool set is very handy.

This kit is obviously geared towards iPhone fixers, but it is incredibly helpful for any electronic fix that you're trying to perform. Using this made cleaning and swapping batteries on my PS4 controllers a breeze, I've used it to clean out the fans on my friend's macbooks, absolutely would buy again!

A great kit for taking apart devices with strange, non-standard screws. The other parts of the kit also come in handy. So far, I've used this kit to aid in replacing a speaker on a 2016 MacBook Pro and remove the hard drive from an older Lenovo laptop. The Lenovo disassembly (for some reason) required removing just about every internal component before I could reach the hard drive. This meant storing and organizing a lot of different screws for the reassembly. Luckily, the top of the toolkit (which attaches via magnets) has slots to store screws in. I originally purchased this kit for the first time earlier this year. This purchase was for a gift for a friend. Overall, I'd definitely recommend for anyone who regularly opens up laptops, PCs and/or smartphones.

I got this to use for replacing the battery on my computer and surprisingly have used it for quite a bit of other things! Very easy and versatile, and honestly have no complaints. It was cheaper to purchase here than on amazon but with what I think, better quality.

If you are moderately tech savvy and work on your own devices, this kit is essential. Controller cleaning, phone and small device repair, PC tweaking - all of these things are made easier with this kit. It's cheap, it's robust, and it's made well. Can't say much more about it.

This is exactly what I needed. Diverse kit with a nice case. I like the way everything is organized really nicely in the foam. I used the tools inside to replace a wifi card and add RAM to my laptop. It looks like it will be helpful for a lot of other tasks as well.
