simple, slim case
I bought the iFrogz iPod case for my (5-7 year old) kids' iPod touches. I wanted something that wasn't too bulky, would be easy for them to hold, and would provide protection for typical drops onto the sidewalk, etc. This case does the job, was easy to install, and fit both the 5th and 6th gen iPod touch models. The only con I notice is that the charge port is covered (by a rubber part that can be opened for charging), but if that's an issue, it could just be snipped off. The sliding camera cover is a nice touch (easily slides open/closed to protect camera, rather than the rubber fold-back piece you see on some cases.

Case easy to attach
This case is perfect for my daughter that loves pink. It goes on easy and comes off easy. So far it protected the IPod a couple of times when it has fallen.

iTouch Case for my Son
Okay, so we haven't tested it as far as seeing if it protects the iTouch well, but it appears like all other phone covers with the soft, rubbery piece and then hard plastic piece. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because the bottom piece that covers the plug area (which I thought was a good idea when purchasing because I wanted to protect that area from my 8 year old) flaps up fairly easily and gets in the way. Not a big deal to push it back down but did remove a star for me.
