Protect your kitchen from fire with this black iGuardStove electric stove monitor. The motion sensor detects unmonitored stoves, and the shut-off timer stops cooking after a preset time of up to 5 minutes. This iGuardStove electric stove monitor has a manual override that disables the shut-off time for uninterrupted simmering and roasting.
Note: Please check you stove plug and count the brass prongs. Our device requires 4 prongs.
Not compatible with 3 prong electric systems.
Q: Does it shut off the oven as well or just the stove?
A: undefined
Q: Do you have a model for a 3-prong plug?
A: Thank for your inquiry of the iGuardStove. I’m sorry to say this but no we do not make the 3-prong anymore. It’s for an older outdated ungrounded electrical system and we didn’t get that many calls for them. However, due to a situation with a large clients we are going to re-introduce the 3-prong this year and its currently going through re-certification right now and probably will not be available until late summer 2020. In the meantime, we do have a workaround that is both simple and inexpensive. It involves replacing the existing wall outlet for the stove as well as the stoves cord from 3-prong to 4-prong. I have attached a sheet to explain the process. It’s not an instruction sheet as we have to recommend that you get a qualified electrician to do this but with homeowners doing their own modifications these days, if you have a handyman that can do this for you it’s really not that hard.
