Geek Squad In-Home Computer Service: Some of the computer issues I have can be multi-layered due to the amount of data and programs accumulated from many years in business. Each time I have worked with this specific Tech, they FIRST actively listen to the computer issue(s) and concerns I have. THEN together, we determine a plan of action. This individual's experience is evident, and quality of work is exceptional! Even when the computer situation has evolved to more than anticipated and my stress is mounting, this Tech stays calm, focused and encouraging. Of my 30+ years in business, this Tech is the most knowledgeable, patient, and kind person I have had the pleasure of working with on my computers. I would be happy to work with this Tech again, if/when my computers need this assistance and expertise.

The agent transfer all my data and setting accurately from my old computer. Also spent time to review with me to make sure every item was transferred.

My agent, Ray, totally set up my new laptop from the sealed box to completely set up, with the appearance of my old computer's settings and shortcuts. All data was still available, and for a non tech like me, completely understandable. Ray also showed me some of the small differences with my laptop and answered all the questions I had regarding computer care, anti-viruses etc. He was very personable and made the experience of getting and setting up my new laptop very positive.

The in-home data transfer was smooth and efficient. I had a Geek Squad technician at my house several weeks prior to this to deal with a malware issue…I requested the same technician for the data transfer when I purchased my new iMac because that technician was very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and personable I would definitely recommend Best Buy for any electronics purchase, and the Geek Squad for in-home service.

The agents set up my new computer, printer and transferred data quickly and efficiently. They were very polite and knowledgeable. They also gave me a tutorial on the new setup. I am so happy that I decided to have in home service! rather than do it myself.

The technician arrived on time, explained the process for installing and transfer of files to a new computer, answered all questions in layman's terms, employed software to manage the transition and made certain everything was working before he left. In addition, he gave me his personal phone number, should a problem occur.

He checked with me several times during the new computer set-up and data transfer process to ascertain my preferences as well as my understanding of differences between my former computer and the new one. The technicians hooked up the computer and transferred all data from the old computer. They were very efficient and knowledgeable and made sure everything was working smoothly before leaving.
