We bought 4 of these to be our kid's "Santa" gift. Here it is Christmas Eve night and ALL 4 of them are stuck in a glitched up loop..cant even turn them off. This is really going to suck to explain in the morning.

I give this tablet a qualified recommendation. It is an inexpensive tablet, and for the cost, it is pretty good. It can't really compete with the more expensive models in terms of screen resolution or processing speed, but it is a serviceable tablet that works reasonably well. On the positive side, the 10 in format gives a large viewing area. The screen is reasonably bright. The fact that this tablet runs Android 7 and that it has not been customized by the manufacturer is good. On the negative side, this tablet is rather heavy to hold. The processor is somewhat slow, and it gets bogged down sometimes. The front and back cameras are pretty bad, but the heavy weight of the tablet makes it unlikely that you are going to carry it around to take photos. The manufacturer's documentation (available on the Insignia website) is not comprehensive and does not even discuss some of the tablet's features. It is also important to note that there are no custom made cases available for this tablet for some reason. The only option is a generic cover that is held on by elastic bands that connect to brackets on the four corners. The only available screen protectors are also generic. In summary, this is an okay tablet for the money. It will not wow you with its performance, but it is an inexpensive option and holds its own over other options at that price point. When I bought mine, Best Buy did not even have one of these on display. I am not sure why they treat this like an ugly stepchild, except that they may be trying to direct customers to pricier tablets.

I like it for ease of use. Good price for a tablet. A bit slow on changing programs. Battery life could be better.

It has the right amount of storage at 32 GB but is a little thin on RAM quantity and CPU performance. Sometimes the screen requires multiple touches to get the icons to activate - similar behavior occurs when awaking tablet by swiping the screen after touching power button. Although the specs do not say so, it does come equipped with 3.5 MM stereo audio port. But then again, it is rather inexpensive. Perhaps the Acer Iconia would have been a better choice for only $20 more.

i have quite a few cheep tablets that ether lack memory or battery life and just quit. not being able to handle constant use. this one is different. plenty of memory (and no blot ware ). fast speed and fully expandable. the screen is crisp and clear and plays apps effortlessly. a great buy.

We purchased two of these for a trip to Europe. They will be used primarily for blog entries, email, pay bills, etc. Storage not a problem as we have most of our stuff in the cloud. Inexpensive, so if they're lost or stolen not nearly the same problem as if our we lost our Surfaces. Small and light enough to be easy to carry.

The tablet work great, this one is mostly used for reading books. However, I also bought three other ones for Christmas, two for granddaughters and one for my son. They are all fantastic, large, lots of internal memory, easy to use and are a great price.

Does all the basics & more. I needed a tablet with more built in storage than the usual 8 or 16gbs. I can never load all the apps that I use on these tablets. With this one I can. It has 32gbs. Large screen and priced right. A winner.

Tablet is awesome for the price. The large screen is nice. The only downside of this tablet is performance specs are the same as tablets from a few years ago. If you’re on a budget, though, this is your best option.

Good tablet for the price. It is not as fast as I had hoped. Good size for viewing tv shows and Netflix movies. It is OK for some games. Could be a little faster. Storage seems to be adequate.

I got one of these for my mom last Christmas, and for my mother-in-law and father-in-law this year. I decided to get one for myself since I did not have a Tablet already. The screen size is great, it has some good features, and I really enjoy using it. I will say that it constantly gives errors that several apps "have stopped working" and asks if you want to close them, even when they are already closed. Also, I've had it for about two months and the charging time keeps increasing. When I first got it, it took just under 2 hours to fully charge 100%, now it takes over 4 hours. I like the tablet, but I am a little concerned about it continuing to function.

I saw plenty of reviews for this tablet that said it was extremely slow and they are not in accurate. However some reviews make it out to seem that this thing takes hours to load a single program and that's simply not true. For the price you cannot beat this tablet. It does everything it's supposed to do. I turn it on it comes on I turn it off it shuts off. In between that time I can surf the internet, use any app that I can use on a Droid phone, take pictures, watch videos, and check my email. Sure it probably does it slower than an iPad or a Samsung Galaxy Tab that cost 526 times more but if you want a good tablet for around 60 bucks you can't go wrong.

I bought this to use for various apps and eBook reading. It is not a fast device and it does not have frills but it is a solid basic tablet and for the price it s exactly what I was looking for. The 10 inch screen is large enough to be able to play games without squinting and it's large enough that each page of a book is easily readable to me. Battery life is about three or so days for me since I usually have it in power save mode between uses. Good WiFi connection, decent cameras, and audible if small speakers round it out.

First things first, I use better quality computers all day so this is just what I noticed with this tablet. If you want a nice resolution and fast response to your input, this is NOT the one for you. I use it only to access websites that work well within the Chrome browser. I type fast and this things lag often causes mistakes. When I tap an app to open I have to wait a second or two for the result. Batter life sucks for being so simple but you get what you pay for. End result, if you want performance and a great screen image, try something a little more expensive.

The size of the screen and the quality of the display are excellent. The internal RAM is limited. With the standard Android app installed you are already using 960 Meg's of 1 gig supplied. The result means frequent a reboot or waiting for the app halting alerts to clear. I installed 128 gig with expandable slot so I have storeage for days but limited RAM available.

Bought this tablet for my mom to replace her old broken Acer tablet. The size and the screen of the tablet is great for a $99.99 tablet. The performance is so so because is it takes a long time to launch apps and games. Also this tablet will sometimes randomly restart in the middle of playing games so that can be very frustrating. Overall I give it a okay for maybe a little kids to play with, but definitely not recommended if you are looking for a good reliable tablet.
