Needed a portable charger - this fit my needs!

I had travelled to Concord and left my laptop charger at home. Being a long-time Best Buy customer, I found a store not far from my hotel, popped in, and got this inexpensive charger that met my needs. I like the extra-long cord, which comes in handy in a hotel room!

Universal C-Type Laptop Charger

The charger works just fine. However, after a while the box gets very warm and I have to unplug it for a bit before resuming charging. On the bright side, it was very inexpensive for a replacement and gets the job done!

Pros: Exceptional price-to-performance ratio for 100W Power Delivery. Generous 8-foot total reach. Compact, travel-friendly footprint. Cons: The USB-C cable is hardwired into the power brick, so if the cable ever frays, the whole unit will need replacing. (Though the build quality feels heavy-duty enough that I'm not worried about it). Overall, it's a stellar, reliable buy if you want to power laptops, handheld PCs, and phones on a budget.

Correct Charger for my Chromebook,

I like the fact that this cable easily fit my Chromebook. I went away on vacation with my charger in an iffy condition. Once I got to the middle of the country, it would not charge at all. A quick trip to Best Buy, with the excellent help from the qualified customer service guy, we found several charging cables that would fit. He explained the differences to me, and we chose one that would charge at high speed. It works wonders!!!!

This is a great product. Worked well for my laptop and was a great insignia branded product. Worked for my laptop without the box getting too hot. Would absolutely recommend. Just make sure you check the wattage matches.

Boring in the best way—it just works

I bought this at the same time as a Dell laptop and j5create docking station for a family friend’s work setup. It has now been used every workday for almost three months, and it has supplied power to the dock and laptop without any charging or compatibility issues. The laptop is regularly connected through the dock to two external monitors, and the adapter has kept the setup working without slow-charging warnings, random power drops, or other problems being reported. A power adapter is not an exciting product, but that is really the point. You plug it in and should not have to think about it again. The 100W output also provides more flexibility than buying a lower-powered adapter that may work with one laptop but struggle once a docking station is added. The eight feet of total reach is useful for a desk setup where the nearest outlet is not directly behind the computer. One detail worth knowing is that the eight-foot measurement is split between the USB-C side and the wall-power side. It is not an eight-foot USB-C cable by itself. The USB-C cable is also permanently attached to the power brick rather than removable, so you cannot replace only the cable if it becomes damaged. Neither of those design choices has caused a problem in this setup. It has reliably powered exactly what it was purchased for, and there have been no complaints after daily use.

I bought this charger when the one that came with my laptop stopped working. I love that it's not a crappy tiny pin to go into a tiny, poorly designed port. It has worked like a charm and I haven't needed to worry about the pin or the port. I'm sure this charger will help with other charging needs.
