This this is very spacious, alot bigger than my last fridge. The ice maker works great, makes cubes about 60% of the size of ice tray cubes. The water dispenser works great and the water is always somewhat cold compared to my tap water. ................. Cons : My 2 big complaints are first, the glass shelf at the top doesn't go up far enough so you don't have alot of clearance at the bottom shelf to put jugs, pitchers etc. I put those in the side door storage. Second, the drawers and side door shelves seem kinda flimsy for a 1600 dollar fridge. I feel the need to be careful with them so they do not break.

Great Fridge and an even better price. Only giving it 4 stars because it arrived with a slight bend in the metal door. We didn’t notice it until all plastic was removed and it was too late to return but quite honestly not a big enough dent to go through the hassle of returning either. All in all we are happy!

Avoid - I read some of the warnings and ignored them. Best Buy delivered the fridge on time and the installers were very efficient and pleasant to work with, but this fridge is terrible. It was installed yesterday (Monday) at 12:30pm and has been running ever since then. It is now Tuesday at 10:30pm (so almost 36 hours) and the fridge will only get to 50 degrees. In the attached pictures you can see that I set the fridge at 35 degrees with the "Super Cool" button on (which is really just a fan that is silent so I'm not sure it's working) and the thermometer shows that the temp is just above 50 degrees with the thermometer placed on the middle shelf. I am calling Best Buy tomorrow to return the fridge and if they can't replace it with a brand new one that works I'll be shopping elsewhere to replace it.

Overall good product; doesn’t stay as cold as I’d like. Stays at 35 degrees unless you push the “Colder” button manually. Looks good and is effective.

This was a gift to myself that I found on clearance and after 3 days of having it installed I'm loving it. The biggest feature was the water dispensor on the side which I have wanted since I found out they existed. The only complaint I have is that with no handles to specify where to touch I find myself wiping finger marks off daily which really ism't a big deal since I love alone but I wouldn't recommend this finish for someone with kids or a larger family.

I absolutely love this fridge. It does exactly what I need it to while undercutting it's competition. The build quality seemed fine and everything was going smoothly until today. My girlfriend went to shut the left door and a plastic piece snapped off of the bottom hinge. Turns out it's the tensioner that helps shut the door as it's being closed. No big deal right? The fridge still works so I'm not too stressed about it but I decided to test insignia's warranty anyway. Man was i surprised how badly they handled everything. I spent 5 minutes talking to a nice lady who clearly gets yelled at by angry customers all day long before being put on hold for 27 minutes. I'm not exaggerating, my entire call ways 34:01 and I spent 27 of them listening to their elevator music. When she finally returned, she informed me that "Physical damage is not covered". I explained that this is more of a defect than damage from misuse but she said she can't do anything. She's "just repeating what was told to her". I asked her about other avenues for contacting them only to be told that the only option was through the phone number. I hung up annoyed at the situation and have decided that's the last time I deal with insignia products. As somebody that once worked there, I used to actually vouch for their products. After this I don't think I can confidently purchase any of their appliances.

The refrigerator works fine, but the ice maker does not. The ice maker leaks water into the ice bin which freezes into a solid layer of ice. We have only had the refrigerator a month. Best Buy is going to take care of the problem, hopefully we won't have more issues.

Great product so far (owned for 3 days). Did wish it had more shelf adjustment options but very minor. Great value for clearance price under $1K.

Hmmm I don’t normally get clearance items and this is one I should have avoided. I should have stuck with the companies that know refrigerators. No support for this brand unfortunately without paying for geek squad certified service. Or out of pocket appliance guy.

Ordered on 12/7, delivered 12/11, set up 12/13, won’t cool. F1 error code on temp display. That should be a faulty temperature sensor code. Calling to get it fixed. Hopefully quickly. I know these things happen, just hoping the service is prompt! I need a fridge!

We purchased this items on Dec 2023, 5 months into using this fridge, the fridge does not work properly anymore. The temperature only goes down to 51F. Despite multiple attempts to fix the fridge with the geek squad, issues still not resolved. Worst appliance ever! Not worth the money and time!

We purchased this refrigerator as our second one on clearance for a great price. So far it is good. Just temperature numbers are not matching with my thermometer. A first ice was a solid block but the third ice load it started to work good. No problems any more after one month of using it. We hope it will stay that way. We also purchased 5 years warranty to be safe. Best Buy is doing a good job.

We just got this refrigerator several weeks ago and it is working well. The unit is very good looking; quiet and keeps food cool. The freezer is nicely sized and holds a lot of food.

We bought this in June of 2020, so we've had it almost a year. We have pretty specific dimensions we need to fit to ensure the fridge doesn't end up taking over our entire kitchen and this fit the bill to a T. Love the drawers, space, water and ice on the inside all of it. The only downside has been the ice maker. It has broken continuously and hasn't worked right since the beginning. It leaks water into the bucket and then all the ice is one big block of ice. Eventually it gets iced over enough that the whole ice make tray has broken in half while trying to turn. We have had multiple service calls to get it replaced and it works fine for a while and then breaks again. Just got a call this morning that they can't even gey the part anymore to replace it and now I have to talk to Best Buy exchange program. Which is weird since they are still selling these online?? Over all love this fridge with the exception of the ice maker. It's not an end of the world problem by any means, just an annoyance.

Two-and-a-half years in, this has been a really good refrigerator for us. We love the counter depth, the ice maker and how everything is lid out. A small problem with the deli door getting caught up when sliding, but it was quickly replaced with no more issues. ONE DRAWBACK it’s VERY easy to leave one of the top two doors not completely shut. Fortunately an alarm sounds when this occurs, but it happens several times per week.

I wish it would have worked out for me. It was the perfect 2nd fridge for me. The fridge is fine, in that it looks good (except for its not fingerprint resistant), but the style is fine. It is plenty big, with easy to use shelves and simple freezer. I LOVE the ice.... (we also have a Samsung with useless ice maker). HOWEVER.... this fridge turned warm twice in the 1st 3 weeks of use. The 1st time, while I was skeptical, I just figured the kids must've left the door open. The 2nd time, I assumed the same thing, but I couldnt get it to cool down the rest of the day, so I figured something was wrong. Luckily I didnt have too much food in it either time because its pretty nasty to clean out food that was supposed to be kept cold... Maybe its just poor quality control and you need luck on your side.... but I"m not throwing my money against the wall to hope it sticks again. Sorry Insignia, but I'm moving on. I went back to Best Buy and ordered the return/pick up of this one and ordered an LG for delivery asap.

I upgraded from a side by side to a French Door. I’m very happy with the fridge so far. The shelves don’t adjust as much as I’d like but you can put tall items Ike milk & orange juice on the door shelf. I also like the counter depth because my kitchen is fairly small.
