Q: How many HDMI ports does this switch have for input sources?

A: This HDMI switch has three HDMI input ports.

Q: How do you switch between the connected devices on this HDMI switch?

A: You can easily switch between connected devices using the selection button on the switch.

Q: Does this HDMI switch support HDR?

A: Yes, this switch supports full 4K HDR signals up to 18 Gbps.

Q: What type of audio does the Insignia HDMI switch support?

A: This switch supports DTS-HD surround sound.

Q: What is the maximum resolution supported by this HDMI switch?

A: The switch supports a maximum resolution of 4K (2160p) at 60Hz.

Q: What is it for, or what can it do?

A: It's a splitter, but in reverse - it takes multiple HDMI devices and allows them all to port in to this device, then it only has one HDMI port from it to your end source - generally a television. This way, you can have three separate devices that only utilize/consume one HDMI port on the back of your end device/television. So theoretically, if you have four ports on the rear of your television, and utilized four of these devices that can handle the input from three other devices, you could have 12 devices ported into your television through four HDMI ports. Hope this makes sense - I'm only on my first cup of coffee.

Q: Can I connect to my PC to two monitors?

A: Not simultaneously. This is designed to allow you to switch inputs to one monitor rather than multiple monitors to one source. Hope this is helpful!

Q: what does it mean 4K and HDH Pass-through. are all of the ports actually 4K? I have a 4k blueray player and 4K satellite dish, but only 1 4K input on my TV.

A: It works with any 4K devices. No change in the clarity of your screen. Very convenient if you have 3 devices to connect to your 1 HDMI ouput TV
