Decided to buy myself a new tv ( previous was a Panasonic 32 inch ) and was looking for a 40 inch with good quality at a decent price . I FOUND IT ! I was going to purchase a roku tv but after doing some research and comparing I got this ! No regret so far at all . came in two day’s , set up was easy , quality is good , and the price is unbeatable ..... I would highly suggest buying this tv . ik it’s not 4K but the quality is great and I have two 4K roku TVs in my house ;not any noticeable difference in quality of picture !! Roku TVs are just WiFi connectable W/ built in apps so you don’t need a fire stick or cable box necessarily .... if you have a fire stick , cable or antenna it’s no need to spend that extra money definitely check this out first I promise you will be happy .

I love this tv! It has an excellent picture and great sound. The settings for pictue, sound and inputs are VERY easy to navigate. Also, the price was outstanding. I chose this tv because I would rather have 1080 resolution and a large screen than smart functionality. My Fire stick and Chromecast handle all the smart functions I need. Believe me when I say that I did my homework before I made my purchase and I am completely satisfied.

Purchased the 43” Insignia for my grand daughter’s room because she’s here often. To my surprise this TV has a beautiful picture and great sound. I did not purchased the Smart version I added a Roku. This is great TV for anyone looking for something inexpensive, with a beautiful picture and great sound quality, you don’t even need to purchase speakers. I would definitely recommend this TV to family and friends. Great value, picture, and sound, and I think it’s a good quality TV.

Great TVs. I bought 2 of them to flank a larger TV. I like that they are not smart tvs because I don't need them to have all the bells and whistles. I have streaming devices that can do that work. If you are looking for a quality TV without all the trimmings because you don't need it, then this is the one for you. I have purchased a few Insignia products and I have not had any trouble from any of them. Found two in the open box section and I generally buy the insurance so I buy open box with confidence. I rated these high because I took into account the price point and understood these aren't going to compete with the more sophisticated models available.

I love my new TV. Got a good deal for this. I already had a Roku streaming stick, so I didn't really need a smart TV. Just a regular TV without the smart-tv features, etc. My Samsung 32inch TV was starting to turn off/on by itself. (Note: Had the TV for quite a couple years). My first flat screen tv was an Insignia. Started looking for a new TV and bigger size. This fit the price range & size. Playing video games look insanely unreal & realistic. Movies look good, clear, & crisp. I have my own home-theater in my room with the Roku Streambar. Picture quality: Great Sound quality: Great Price: Great Overall, this is a great TV to buy if you don't need a smart-TV.

I really like this tv. It's not a fancy smart tv but that's not what I wanted. I just wanted something that looks good and I can attach my Roku stick and over-the-air antenna to. It has a nice HD picture and looks gorgeous with my local channels and my roku stick. I also have an over the air antenna attached to it, and while some of the channels on that are a little rough, it's not the tv's fault because the sources aren't HD or are less than 1080p. But the good news is, you can set the tv aspect ratio to "auto" and it will automatically pick the best aspect ratio for those channels so that you get the best picture possible. That means sometimes on those channels you get the black bands on the top or sides of the picture so that you can get a better picture, and believe me, you want that because I didn't have it set that way at first and some of the antenna channels were pretty bad. It was way better once I let the tv decide what was the best way to watch that channel. But that's only with an antenna, so if you aren't attaching an antenna then you should not even have to worry about that. It also has a onscreen guide for the antenna channels (see the picture below). The Flintstones pictures below are from the antenna and are full HD but only 480i and the others are full 1080i. The blue and purple picture is the roku stick. I was really nervous buying because I didn't want to make a mistake and I didn't want to be sorry I bought it, but it has served my basic purposes just fine. If you're just looking for a decent tv without a lot of fancy stuff and you'll be happy with full hd, then I think you'll like this tv. As long as it doesn't quit working too early or anything like that, then I'm a very satisfied customer.

Well it started off badly because UPS delivered it to my neighbour's door instead of mine (despite my explicit directions), but it eventually got to me, and I hooked it up, and it's all well and good so far. I specifically wanted a "dumb TV" (as opposed to a smart TV), and I wanted a bigger one, and 42" was the biggest I could find. It's replacing a still-working 32" Dynex (a former Best Buy brand) that I've passed on to friends who are still using a 1990s CRT! The only thing I don't like about this unit is the feet -- I wish they were closer to the center. Other than that I have never had bad luck with a Best Buy purchase--something I hope will continue.

I’ve only ever had a 20 something inch tv for gaming at my desk but lately I haven’t been gaming as much and decided to go for a bigger tv to watch netflix and youtube. It’s a really good tv in my opinion, definitely worth the buy.

We didn't want to spend a lot of money because this TV was for our bedroom. We were surprised at the quality of the picture and the ease of mounting. The Insignia TV weighed about a fourth of the one it replaced and it was easy to hang and set up with our cable remote. By the way, this is low cost but definitely worthy of the living room!

I love this television! It’s just a basic tv. No smart features which is exactly what I was looking for. It’s incredibly lightweight, the picture is clear, and I was able to set it up in minutes. I also set up my old Roku on it. No problems, no glitches ,no nothing. I definitely recommend if your looking for a basic television for a great price.

Excellent picture and sound. Tv is thin and light which makes for easy wall installation. Amazingly low price for a quality flatscreen.

Tv was easy set up and the picture is amazing. I thought the tv was going to be a little bigger but its fine. Sound is excellent and the remote is easy to use. The only problem was putting on the stand. It takes patience but stand up very well. I have it on carpet and no problem

Kind of a secret, but a 4K on a 43” TV isn’t necessary unless you’re sitting right on top of it (using it for a computer monitor). I got this for $199 sale price, and that was nearly half what a 43” 4K cost. I couldn’t justify the difference in cost. Once I got it home and got it wall-mounted, it was obvious I made a great choice. This TV really has an amazing picture and looks good on the wall (I love the thin frame). The remote is comfortable and simple. The menu is also very user friendly. I could not be happier with my purchase, and a shout out to N Canton BestBuy for the great customer service (as usual).

Great priced tv that suits all of your needs. Good sized didn’t need anything bigger or smaller it fit perfectly for the space I placed it. The picture comes in extra clear I personally used it for gaming and it has amazing 1080 quality, highly recommended.

My new TV is AWESOME. It was a great price, beautiful picture, and easy to setup. I’m so happy, because due to the weather, our power fluttered, which ruined my old TV.

I operate a 10 bedroom Airbnb in New York. I live a block away from my local Best Buy. The Mount Vernon store is always a pleasure to shop at and the employees including Loss Prevention Team are always very helpful and courteous. This is my ninth purchase of the Insignia brand televisions. I own a 19” for the kitchen and several 43” tvs for the bedrooms and a 55” tv in the home theatre. All work fine and provide great pictures. My only complaint is that it should be easier to order replacement remotes or BB should carry them in the local stores for the loyal customers!!

This is a great TV that I got at a great price for black Friday sale. $129 so I decided to buy 2 of them! Great clear picture...not a smart TV but that wasn't a factor for me. Highly recommend.
This television has exceeded my expectations on every level. Great picture. Great sound. And...you can customize the presets according to your personal taste. I did not want a Smart TV, and for my needs this tv fits like a charm. I would recommend my 43” Insignia to anyone. Good for you, Insignia. I am now a loyal customer!

Very happy with this t.v. We purchased a 4,000 square. Foot home 9 months ago and needed an extra t.v. Fits perfectly in our Family room, & looks great mounted on the wall. Works great, very affordable pricing, & the only thing I would add is a sound bar & extra speaker's, as the sound is "ok" I recommend this t.v. for someone needing an extra t.v. that isn't "huge" for a spare bedroom, guest room, 4-Season's room, etc. I still have to instal a cord hider, ( as seen in photos), so the cords/cables are neatly tucked away, & more cohesive to the ambiance.

I have to say this is better than a lot of TVs I've had. The glow in the dark buttons on the remote with numbers and I use a Amazon fire stick ( CEC turned on ) to make it Smart and the remote works it as well. I recommend it !
