We’ve been using the freezer for 2 weeks now and so far it works as expected. Setup & cleaning instructions were easy to follow. We picked it up from our local store in hopes of avoiding a damaged freezer. Happy to say there was no physical damage on the outside of the unit. It’s a great size for our family of 4. Some frost does build up but there hasn’t been too much yet. It is manual defrost, which we haven’t done yet but I imagine it will be fairly easy with the drain located on the front lower left hand side. It runs quiet which is a major plus for us since it sits just outside the kitchen. Overall it seems like a good buy. Hoping it will last for years to come.

My living space is limited but I needed more freezer space. This size is perfect. So those that are worried it’s too deep…. I put a wire rack in the bottom of mine. The stuff I put under the rack is things that can be in there long term like fruit. Trust me my freezer becomes almost empty before the next fill up so it will never go bad. Highly recommend this unit if you need more freezer space without losing too much footprint space.

Zero complaints! Love the light on the lid. We bought 1/2 a beef and needed extra freezer room. This holds all of the beef no problem! We decided to put it in the garage so after we’re finished using it as a freezer we will turn it down and it’ll be our garage refrigerator! Tah dah!

The freezer is the perfect size. Only issue I have is that it had a dent on the top of the freezer. Noticed the box was cut when the sales associate brought it to me but didn’t think nothing of it til I got home and saw the dent.

When I got this home, the freezer was damaged pretty bad on a couple corners like they had been dropped straight out of a truck onto the corner. Because I am weak from cancer treatments I decided not to try and bring it down two flights of stairs to return and bring a new one back up to a third floor apartment. Other than that it functions fine and keeps my food frozen. Perfect size for a smaller apartment.

Received brand new product from local best buy. Box was badly dented with a hole in the bottom. I was advised the product was probably fine--it absolutely was not. There is a significant dent in the bottom of the unit as seen in the picture. Now have to go thru the hassle of an exchange. Insignia continues to disappoint.

I've had this freezer running continuously for a few weeks now, and it's been maintaining temperature well. It gets down to the target temperature quickly, stays consistent, and is quieter than I expected. It's a great size for overflow freezer storage without taking up too much space. Just moved and wanted a little more freezer space. This freezer was just the right size and didn't take up much space in the garage. Therevis an outside indicator light to ensure its running, and a light inside. Has been running great!
