When I saw the price on this television, I thought it must've been mismarked. What a deal! The picture is excellent, the smart features make things easy, and I don't even need a sound bar. Highly recommended!

TVs speakers better than expected and quality good

I got this TV for my dad and for the most part it’s been a really good tv for the price. The sound quality got me by surprise because it’s better than expected usually. Only reason why it’s not 5 stars for me is the fire TV. For some odd reason it’s really buggy Im not sure if it’s only for my unit. But I would say this. ITS WAY better then LG my LG tv is soo laggy and just horrible and it was more expensive so there is that. But I would recommend this TV

Great picture, horrible sound
MATTHEW Posted
We purchased this TV at a great sale price. We're blown away by the picture quality of this unit at the price point; however, the sound is terrible. Insignia might as well not have included speakers on this thing. If you have external speakers like a soundbar (which we immediately purchased to pair with this), you're good to go. Zero complaints about the image quality, but if this had even remotely decent speakers, it would be a 5/5 review - especially for the price.

Bought at sale price , great tv
JONATHAN Posted
Picture is bright and beautiful The refresh rate is just 60 but I do not notice bad image. The remote did stop working but you can use the fire TV app. I added govee lights on the back, looks NICE. I also added insignia sound bar on sale recently, great pair. This is mini led set on a budget and im happy with it for my bedroom. Streaming is fantastic on it, I've noticed no lag. I will get a roku 4k+ with Dolby vision because I prefer Roku but that's just me. I did put it on dynamic video setting and a white and hot pink background on a YouTube video did not do well..... it basically was white out. Setting it back to normal video setting fixed that. Overall great TV! Saved money on insignia products from bestbuy

this tv is perfect! the picture quality is amazing, we mounted it on our bedroom wall and we watch/play everything on it. Sound quality is great for football games and the colors really pop when we play our Nintendo Switch games on it. There is nothing to not like about this Tv, it fits our bedroom wall perfectly. Mini-LED Strip Failure After 18 Days
Rodney Posted
20 days after purchase, the entire right side mini-led strip failed, see pictures. Still in the window to return this tv which is great, just a bummer that our first experience with an Insignia product went bad. You get what you pay for. Insignia, if you are out there and will go beyond just a refund or replacement, I will remove this review.

Hello Rodney, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that the mini-LED strip on your Insignia 55" Class F70 Series 4K UHD QLED Mini-LED Smart TV failed less than three weeks after purchase, especially as this was your first experience with an Insignia product. We understand how frustrating and disappointing it can be when a new TV develops a display issue so soon after setup. Our support team can take a closer look at your situation and review available warranty options with you at 877‑467‑4289 or Insignia@bestbuy.com. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention and thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist. Darshan | Insignia

Hardware Issues
Flaco Posted
I purchased both the 65-inch and 55-inch Insignia F70 Series TVs, and unfortunately, both have developed the exact same issues. Since the problems are occurring on two different TVs of the same model line, I don't believe it's an isolated defect. Pros Great picture quality for the price. Easy setup and user-friendly interface. Good value when everything is working correctly. Cons Backlight failure after about one week: Both TVs occasionally power on, but the backlight doesn't turn on. The only way to get the picture back is to perform a full hard reset by unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. Audio/eARC instability after about 2½ weeks: Both TVs are connected to different brands of soundbars, yet they developed the exact same problem. While watching movies or shows: Audio randomly stops playing through the soundbar. The TV automatically switches to the built-in speakers. A few moments later, it switches back to the soundbar. During the switch, the video briefly pauses or interrupts playback, making it frustrating to watch anything. Overall I really wanted to like these TVs because the picture quality is impressive for the price. However, experiencing the same backlight issue and the same audio switching problem on both the 65-inch and 55-inch models, despite using different soundbars, makes me question the reliability of the F70 Series. Unless Insignia releases a firmware update that permanently fixes these issues, I can't confidently recommend this TV. The frequent need to hard reset the TV and the random audio interruptions significantly impact the overall experience.

Picture quality, Smart capabilities & AFFORDABLE!

Although this is a 55", which is still a great size, it has many features you'd expect in a large theater quality TV. The picture resolution is fantastic & the Smart features offered are proof that TVs have a come a long, long way. Best of all, this TV was on sale at a ridiculously low price! In summary, AWESOME!

Great visuals, but weekly resets for backlight
Zanz Posted
This is a solid *looking* tv. But the backlight can turn off (and you just have to restart in the settings to fix it). It's a little annoying, but otherwise, this is a value. Hopefully a firmware update sets this straight. Get a soundbar if the sound isn't to your liking. I think Meh sound is normal on these new/budget tvs.

I purchased the 55 inch F70 for my friend’s mother for her bedroom. She has some heart issues and she hangs out in the bedroom a lot more watching TV these days. Anyways, I figured it would be a pretty generic TV because it was $250 for 55 inches. I hooked it up and also added an Amazon plus sound bar for $150. They synced perfectly and II hooked it up and also added an Amazon plus sound bar for $150. They synced perfectly and I loved being able to control the sound bar settings via the TV. Upon setting the TV up, I was blown away at the brightness and contrast for this mini LED TV. I was not expecting it at all. I’ve owned a lot of TVs because I’m a little of an enthusiast. I love playing with them and testing them. This is one of the best value mini LEDs I have ever seen. The Amazon fire operating system is a little sluggish, but besides that it’s amazing. Nothing else out the other big five companies beats this for the price. Great picture quality, great black levels minimal blooming and bright enough for most people. Great job Insignia.!

Great upgrade
GarrettL Posted
I bought this to replace a 10 year old insignia TV. Old TV still worked great so I was confident in the brand. I just wanted to upgrade to 4k. It is much brighter and the darks are much darker than my old TV. I have no need for the smart TV features but all tvs have it so it isn't a positive or negative for me.

The picture quality is awesome. It's loud enough that I don't need an additional sound system to thoroughly enjoy it. It went through a phase of dimming itself down occasionally, but playing around with some settings eliminated the problem. Very good overall.

Terrible
Christiang7 Posted
This tv was on such a huge discount and now I know why, there are so many bugs with this device and the sound system is absolutely terrible sounds like a tin can. The picture is good but this is not worth more than $100. Out of no where the auto dim turns on and you have to constantly disconnect and connect the tv for its to work normally and even for apps to work.
