Needed a DisplayPort cable for an older Asus monitor I got from a friend. It works perfectly and was a great price. As you see in photo, it also comes with yellow labels on each end to make sure you plug them into the correct port as the cable is not bi-directional.

Worked as advertised...cable is directional so buyer beware of direction. Display port side MUST be connected to the pc. Won't work the other way.

I specifically got this for a secondary monitor, so it doesn't need to be the highest speed. Worked great so I almost got another for my main monitor, but noticed this conversion-cable only supports up to 60hz. My 180hz monitor would be locked at 60 with this cable. I had to get displayport to displayport in order to actually get the full speed from my main monitor.

Very well made product, but I have noticed while using the ends do get pretty warm with use almost hot to the though just something to be aware of but great graphics and good high speeds.

Hard to really review a cable...beyond it did or didn't do it's job. I'm happy to say, this one did it's job, and continues to and it does it well. And good value for money. (so...if you check pic....it's in there somewhere .. 5 monitors on that pc.....
