Needed a long wire for my portable hard drive

This worked great. I needed something longer than the 6" cord they give you with a portable hard drive. It also lets you choose between a USB and a USB-C.

NEEDED THIS CORD TO ELIMINATE EXCESS CORDS AND THIS WAS RIGHT ON POINT. NO NEED TO ADD A 3RD CHARGING CABLE. SWAPPING IS SO EASY.

Used to transfer items from a Windows 10 desktop to a Windows 11 laptop. Took a short while to figure out, but data and photos transferred faster than expected. Was not able to transfer program files/apps, but the box does only mention transferring data.

Insignia - 6 Ft USB 3.0 File Transfer Cables

I purchased these cable to transfer files from on Windows computer to another. For them to work, they both had to be a networked computers. One of my computers was not on a network due to my having one connection. So I was not able to use them. While I did work with them, they functioned correctly. I will give them an excellent mark.

easy file transfers for different port sizes

my new laptop came with one USB port and one microport so I needed the adapter to be able to connect my external hard drive with built in USB cable to my laptop. This works perfectly. I don't even need the cable, just the adapter.

It's a cord, it does the job

It's kinda hard to screw up a basic cord but this one was more pricey than some cheapo options and it does at least feel worth the price. the adapter is also pretty secure, has held up to a more mobile lifestyle
