It's kinda hard to screw up a basic cord but this one was more pricey than some cheapo options and it does at least feel worth the price. the adapter is also pretty secure, has held up to a more mobile lifestyle

My project isn't complete yet. I'd like to transfer data from an old PC to a new one. I've used Insignia for half of my lifetime. I'm in the 50's. Smile. I assume the transfer cable will stand up to its namesake and represent. I'll be sure to review once I've completed my project.

my new laptop came with one USB port and one microport so I needed the adapter to be able to connect my external hard drive with built in USB cable to my laptop. This works perfectly. I don't even need the cable, just the adapter.

This worked great. I needed something longer than the 6" cord they give you with a portable hard drive. It also lets you choose between a USB and a USB-C.

The product is great. Would have done 5 stars if the price on them was correct. They were marked as being much less, but the Best Buy associate claimed they couldn't sell it for that price because thats not what the system was coming up with.

Unfortunately this cable didn’t work for me. It was expensive, so I’m returning it. The old computer was windows 8.1 and the new is 11, so that could be the issue. The old computer would also not boot, so I don’t know. I can’t give an accurate assessment because of these 2 issues.
