I purchased two (2) 4K monitors compatible with my Macbook Pro (mid-2015) since I had to start teleworking and my external monitor and accessories were still at work. The monitors arrived but with full-size DisplayPort cables--the Macbook Pro has 1 HDMI and 2 mini-DisplayPort ports. However, the cables were taking way too long to ship, but a local Best Buy had these cables in stock, so I canceled my online order and picked up. Let me say that these are exactly what I needed!! They fit perfectly in the monitors and the MBP, and with the two cables, I could drive both monitors at 4K 60 Hz (4K60). This has drastically improved my teleworking capability! The best part was that they were not that expensive either!! Highly recommended if you want to connect a MBP to a 4K+ monitor!

Reason for purchase was to be able to use gsync with 144hz connection from msi to dell desktop. Works really great. No complaints at all. Love gaming with a 4K 144hz option

I have to write this review? OK. It's a 6' cable, but I didn't need all of it. It connects from my wife's Surface Pro to her ultrawide monitor. Apparently Surfaces don't like adapters on their video cables, so I had to get a whole new cable to display full resolution. This cable did it. Ta-da!

I recently bought a new monitor (LG - 24" IPS LED 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor) and was looking for a connector to my MacBook Air. Instead of buying an adaptor I decided to get this cable. Works perfectly and helps keep my work set up looking "clean" without a large adaptor hanging off my MacBook.

I am using two of these to connect two LG 27" 4k monitors to a macbook pro 2015 via minidisplay port to displayport as seperate desktops and the laptop in 3 desktop as well as 2 desktop clamshell mode. Works at full 4k 60hz. Occasional flicker on one of the monitors but I'm almost sure that it's the MBP, it's really taxing the mac to push that many pixels. I'm impressed.

I bought this to connect my macbook to my monitor. I felt like it was very good quality and has held up fine. The cord is 6' so it reaches a long way. But it can easily be tied together.

I was looking for a lower priced cable to handle 4k at 60Hz and this cable was able to deliver. Quality seems great and shows no signs of wear from the constant plugging and unplugging that I am doing.

Good cable and works great, BUT, the packaging should be more clear. It looks like it is only for a Mac...but works on BOTH Mac AND PC (a few people in the store had to tell me this before I believed them).

My HP Spectra has a mini Display Port jack and my Samsung UHD monitor needs Display Port to run 60Hz at greater than 1080p. This cable just works.

Pretty straightforward use. I think the length and quality of fine. I use it to connect a surface pro 6 to my monitor and it has performed well. A little overpriced.

Mac Mini Late 2012 specifications do not include 4K. I plugged this in, and was able to output on a SECOND monitor to 4K/30. Twenty dollar price on sept 29, 2018. Great!

Works great on my 165hz monitor. Solid cable. No complaints.

I am able to get 4k resolution with this cable. Previously I had been using a DVI to hdmi converter and could only get 1080p at the most. I don't know why this cable seems to says it's only for mac.

This cable works great for connecting any Mac that supports 4K to a 4K monitor equipped with DisplayPort. It connects to the Thunderbolt port on the Mac and then to the DisplayPort on the back of the monitor. No adapters needed with this cable. It can also be used with the OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock equipped with a Mini DisplayPort.

I bought this as a way to use my gaming laptop on my high refresh rate monitor, and I'm very pleased with the results. The connectors attach snugly and the cable itself is a very sturdy build quality. I'd definitely recommend this one.

This cable was just what I needed. I was hesitant on buying from online or another local store since I have bought so many cheap cords that fail after a couple of months. This cable is still working and I am glad I purchased it.

It's a cable...and it works. I used it to hook up my Windows Laptop 2's hub to my Dell ultrawide monitor. It works every time, and I haven't had a problem with it after several months.

Best Buy has all of the accessories you'll ever need in the digital device arena. This Insignia cable is essential for connecting a MacBook Pro with Mini-Display port output to an HDMI port display input. Works flawlessly.

Use this on my htc Vive instead of HDMI as my graphics card has 3 display ports and only one HDMI. Works as it should. No problems.
