If you are hesitant don’t think twice. Just get it. If you have multiple devices plugged into one power strip this is definitely what you need. It comes with built in surge protector. The cord is not too long to be a nuisance. The placement of outlets is ideal so they are all easily accessible

I recently upgraded from a laptop to a desktop PC and realized that since i live in an area prone to heavy storms and hurricanes, i needed a surge protector so i didnt fry my internals during power surges. It has saved my pc roughly four times since purchasing and doesnt take up the whole outlet like most surge protectors. It also helped remind me that surge protectors need to be replaced after roughly five years as they begin to lose their efficiency and ability to protect your appliances the older they become. This one has easily become my newest go-to for replacing old extension cords with how long the cord it and how well protected it is!

Simple surge protector that works well

I bought this Insignia 6-outlet surge protector for a basic home setup, and it has worked well for what I needed. It gives me a convenient way to plug in multiple devices at once without taking up too much space, and the 3 ft. cord is a good length for a desk, nightstand, or entertainment area. What I like most is that it is simple and easy to use. The white color also blends in nicely with most rooms and looks cleaner than a darker strip in some spaces. It feels like a practical option for everyday electronics and small household devices. The only minor downside is that the cord may feel a little short depending on where your outlet is. Overall, it is a good basic surge protector that does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I used this for a new office setup. The plug is at an angle, which is super convenient for certain desks. Other than that, it's a good length of cable and it does what it says on the tin.

Great surge protector for the price! The six outlets are spaced well, so I can plug in multiple devices without the larger plugs getting in the way. The 3-foot cord is a good length and the flat plug makes it easy to use behind furniture. It feels well made, and I like having the added 980-joule surge protection for my electronics. ’ve been using this surge protector for a few months now, and it’s done exactly what it’s supposed to do. The build feels sturdy, the outlets are spaced well enough for bulky plugs, and the long cord makes it easy to place under a desk or behind a TV stand. Just exactly what I needed. The size is perfect for a wall mount right next to my couch. Enough sockets for occasional charger plug in. The length is perfect for my situation. Quality materials are great.

I needed some simple surge protectors that didn't cost a lot. These are smaller than the long bar type and have a relatively short cable, both pluses for me. After reading a lot of scary reviews for competing products available on-line, I also wanted the security of buying from a stable and reliable retailer nearby. I had these three delivered and they arrived within a day or two. Now they are supporting a PC and laptop, a TV with cable box and soundbar, and a TV with DVD player and soundbar, all of which now have new extra outlets. I particularly liked the power plugs that are relatively flat to the wall.

I've been using this Insignia 6-Outlet Surge Protector for a while now, and it's been great. I have my TV, gaming console, soundbar, and a couple of chargers plugged into it, and everything has worked without any issues. The outlets are spaced well enough that larger power bricks don't get in the way, which is something I've run into with other power strips. The 3-foot cord is the perfect length for my setup, and the strip feels sturdy instead of flimsy. I also like the peace of mind of having surge protection for my electronics, especially during bad weather. Overall, it's a simple product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Bought this because I needed extra outlets to charge my devices behind the couch. I wanted one that had a bunch of outlets so I could charge my ipad and phone at the same time, along with a small fan. This works great and hides nicely!
