The specs on this tv are impressive for the price range. But once you set it up and start playing content it falls very short of its promises. First off, the built in speakers are absolutely unusable. Budget for at least a cheap soundbar. The picture quality is fine for still scenes. The moment anything moves or pans it falls apart. The judder is the worst I’ve ever seen. Motion clarity features help some but at the cost of losing sharp details and motion sickness. Color is extremely over saturated and highly inaccurate. The tv is too bright in most scenes, pushing the colors and highlights to be blown out. Dark scenes are overly dark. There is no gradient from grey to black. The brightness and contrast were more so distracting than natural or intentional. It took more away from the viewing experience than it added. Attempts to calibrate the color and brightness were made with little to no success. I would not recommend this tv if your primary use case is watching movies or tv. For the price it was when purchased on sale you could get a low to mid-tier tv from other brands with much better out of the box performance.

I'm pretty satisfied for the money. Some minor artifacting with motion smoothing on that I would expect to see from a lower mid tier TV. My 10 year old Samsung sound bar is better than the built in speakers, but that's normal. I like that it's light enough to move myself, although if I were to hang it on a wall mount, I'd probably enlist some help. The FireTV menu and controls seem faster than my other older FireTV and the app works great when someone loses the remote. Picture quality is really pretty good and I'm totally happy with it for now. We'll see how it holds up after a couple years.

If you review the specs on this TV it's hard to believe: 65 inch 4k @60 MiniLED with peak brightness of 950 nits. (Note: The 55inch is not nearly as bright.) This would be $200+ more in another brand. Quality seems decent/chasis is sturdy. The piciture quality is amazing...super bright.... I had to turn it down in my living room which has a huge picture window along the side-wall. So far very impressed. We'll see about longevity.

I purchased both the 65-inch and 55-inch Insignia F70 Series TVs, and unfortunately, both have developed the exact same issues. Since the problems are occurring on two different TVs of the same model line, I don't believe it's an isolated defect. Pros Great picture quality for the price. Easy setup and user-friendly interface. Good value when everything is working correctly. Cons Backlight failure after about one week: Both TVs occasionally power on, but the backlight doesn't turn on. The only way to get the picture back is to perform a full hard reset by unplugging the TV and plugging it back in. Audio/eARC instability after about 2½ weeks: Both TVs are connected to different brands of soundbars, yet they developed the exact same problem. While watching movies or shows: Audio randomly stops playing through the soundbar. The TV automatically switches to the built-in speakers. A few moments later, it switches back to the soundbar. During the switch, the video briefly pauses or interrupts playback, making it frustrating to watch anything. Overall I really wanted to like these TVs because the picture quality is impressive for the price. However, experiencing the same backlight issue and the same audio switching problem on both the 65-inch and 55-inch models, despite using different soundbars, makes me question the reliability of the F70 Series. Unless Insignia releases a firmware update that permanently fixes these issues, I can't confidently recommend this TV. The frequent need to hard reset the TV and the random audio interruptions significantly impact the overall experience.

For the price. Good product. It is great for the living room

Very happy to have gone with this model. I don't know that spending more would have resulted in a better outcome. It is very bright, we had to put it in Dolby Vision Dark mode because standard mode was too bright even in a living room with windows. Great TV.

Even though the price was so low on this TV, we returned this model because the compromise wasn't worth it. Hand motions were delayed with YouTube viewing, the picture quality changed from app to app and, worst of all, we were unable to read print from game viewing, commercials, or any print that appeared on the screen (and it was not because of our vision). Yes, we did try to improve it with the settings. Just not worth the disappointment.
