Q: Insignia answers do not match website description - what is ambient temp for best operation?
A: To clarify, the 50-85 degrees is for optimal performance. Using in this temperature range will allow the freezer to work efficiently while using the least electricity. The range listed on the Best Buy site (-4 to 109) is the temperature range that will allow the freezer to work in any capacity. Here are some additional suggestions for placement from the manual: It is recommended that its used in the coolest room in your house. Locate the freezer away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, such as a stove, heater, or radiator. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extremely cold temperatures may also prevent the freezer from performing properly. Hope this cleat things up!
Q: Where is the electrical cord located?
A: The cord is located on the back on the right side. The cord is about 5 feet long.
