It's not to loud a mild humming when it's on you can sleep through it. It gives off really cold hair on a hot day. For now it's keeps my bedroom nice and cool so far. I think if I live the machine in the living room it will probably cool of my hold place. If you live in an apartment. I don't know it will do that if you live in a house. But yeah it's good to have it's perfect.

This AC works great and keeps the bedroom cool. It was very easy to install and the price was affordable. It is a little loud as most portable and window air conditioners are.

Very satisfied with my purchase of this portable air conditioner. It runs quietly and keeps a large area of my home cool. Perfect size and does not take up much room. Easy to install and very economical. Price was reasonable. Shipping was rapid and it was packaged safely with no damage. So happy I chose the Insignia 8,000 BTU.

This unit is actually provided good cooling low noise. The unit also takes care of moisture without maintenance. First time I saw these machines at a price worth paying.

Small and easy to use and install just hook up to the wall and then screw drive in the hole and you are done.

This is hands down the best purchase I've had in a while. My bedroom is 15'x20' and this AC unit cools it down within minutes. It has kept my khaleesi and I very cool so far this summer.

Does the job- No Complaints Not too big and doesn't make noise.

Within a few weeks the tube that connects to the part that goes in the window disconnected and was essentially broken. Called for replacement never got a response. Still worked just an unable to move it

This protable AC is fantastic! It will blow you across the room with so much power. The unit is tall and slender in width with really nice easy rolling wheels. The unit is a bit noisy but the room I placed it in was cold all the way into another room just on low. It works great, looks nice, easy set up, and a pretty good price.

The unit I received gave out a horrible chemical smell and I tried it for a long time and it still wouldn't go away. The light and beep for the water to be emptied out kept coming on even though it had none. I just decided to return it and pay more for something a bit better.

Tried to fit the vent into a standard home window and the construction of the bracket is so cheap it won't fit at all. It might work if your window open horizontally, but not vertically. Not unless you have 30+" windows because of how the bracket is made. The vent nozzle is ENORMOUS as well, so if your windows have any lip at bottom, it won't fit into those either. Cannot comment on the quality of the product itself, because I couldn't even get it installed on a standard 28" double hung window. Pathetically designed.
