A: Official Nintendo Pro Controllers do not have separate batteries, the rechargeable battery is encased in the controller, they come with a cord to connect to the switch to charge. This insignia charger has two usb-c connections that the pro controller's sit on to charge. (Note Controllers with silicone skins do not fit on the charger without pulling skin away from controller, which I suspect will stretch out the skin in time, but am not sure.)
Q: Will they fit on charger with silicone skins, or do they need to come off?
A: No they do not fit with the skin on...at least mine doesn't. I have two controllers with silicone skins (Red and Blue, like the joycon's). The skin has to be pulled away from the controller to seat into the charger.
Q: Does this charger work for a wireless gamecube nintendo switch controller?
A: This charging station is for Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers.
Q: Can this charge only 1 pro controller or do you need to have two docked for it to charge?
A: You can absolutely just charge one if you want. That’s what I do right now until my second one comes in. It just has the ability to charge two at once (it has two slots).
Q: How long does it take to fully charge a controller?
A: It will take around 4.5 hours.
Q: Can you charge a powera enchanted controler with the charging dock?
A: Not to my knowledge. It only charges a certain controller made for the switch
Q: Would these fit the 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Controllers as well?

A: Yes It does fit. I have been using it that way. I initially bought it for my Zelda controller but this only fits Nintendo Switch Pro controller and the charging grip and even a type c phone since it’s skinny enough.
