Q: The time display is now constantly blinking. How to make it stop blinking?
A: All previous answers only address how to set the clock. They didnt read the question. The answer is you can't. You cannot make the colon in the middle of the clock stop blinking. Ever.
Q: Also looking to see if this works with the iphone 5
A: It does not because of the iPhone 5 lightening connection. However, you can purchase an adaptor cable from the Apple Store. But you will not be able to use it in the existing dock this way.
Q: Sound
A: It's very loud in my opinion for the size. Bass struggles when I turn it ALL OF THE WAY UP but anything reasonable sounds fine. Any shelf stereo system would probably give a better range of sound, it's only a 3" speaker. It sounds better than an iHome if you need something to compare it to. I do like that I can plug in via USB and use my iPhone while still connected and charging. It's a neat device overall, very pleased and probably the best nightstand clock-radio for the price point.
Q: Bass okay?
A: I was very happy with the sound quality. It is full and very rich with good bass. One of the better clock radio sound systems that I have owned.
Q: Does this product work with the ipod 5th generation touch? With what is included.
A: Yes. I have a iPod 5th but you will need an adapter and you get what you see in the picture nothing else
Q: Is it compatible with my old iPod Classic?
A: Yes it is (that's what we use it for) It seems to be one of the only things left out there that doesn't have the new lightening connection.
A: Per Apple's website, the 4th generation ipod does have the 30 pin connector which is what this docking clock has. No adapter needed.
Q: Does the battery back up radio or just the alarm?
A: No. Only to keep time. Needs power for all functions. You need non powered speakers witch will drain the phone quickly.
