A: Top shelf of the stand: about 44" long 7.75" high 14.5" deep ( this part splits into two but more towards the back, basically you'll have two halve at about 22" long each) , Left part of the stand: 17.5" long 13.5" high 13 deep and there's 3 spots where you can put the shelf part on (lowest is at about 4", middle 7" and highest is 9.5"), Middle slot of the stand: 8.5" long, about 14" high 14.5" deep, Right part of the stand: 17.5" long 13.5" high 13" deep and again there are three spots where you can put the shelf part up and the measurements on those are the same as the left side. Hope this helps it's a good estimate on how big the shelves/ sections are. Personally I can fit 2 console, a sub woofer, movies, hardcover game guides and at least 4 rows of 8 video games.

Q: do they assemble when ordered

A: No, it comes in a box and is fairly heavy. I assembled it myself. You only need a Phillips screwdriver. The instructions are easy to follow but there are a lot of parts so you would probably need 3-4 hours to assemble it.

Q: Are there any openings in the rear of the cabinet for cable connections? The pictures do reveal such openings.

A: There are several openings. They also include 2 velcro strips to help organize the cables.

Horrible Assembly, Great Looking Cabinet
This cabinet gets a 2 star rating for assembly and a 4 star rating for looks and design. The assembly instructions say you simply need a Phillips screwdriver. In reality, I needed a power drill to get the screws in all the way. If you do not drill in the screws all the way, the locking caps will not fit in the proper holes to secure the screws in place and the three middle boards will sway. On the bottom back of the cabinet, there are no pre-drilled holes meaning you have to make them yourself (which, once again, means you need a power drill). There were also a few instances where the instructions were not completely clear (usually having to do with which boards are front facing or back facing). As for the looks and design, the final product looks great. The shelving units on the bottom left and bottom right are adjustable where you can set them high, low, or in the middle (review pictures show the shelving boards in their middle placement options). The only complaint I have about the design of the cabinet is the bottom right section. It has a door with hinges on the right-hand side, but the door looks like a sliding shelving unit. It is nearly identical to the left side except for the magnet and different holes in the back. In summary, if you purchase this cabinet, be sure you have a powered screwdriver/drill handy. The cabinet looks great, just be aware the board with handles in it is a door and does not slide open.

Not a bad contender
I bought this TV console for my small apartment. With approximately 8 feet of usable space, the length of this stand was quite close to the edge the way the TV feet could sit. Luckily they could be inverted inward to accommodate the space. This item comes in a box as a flatpack, secured by metal staples, which I’ll admit was the most difficult part of putting it together. The instructions are very clear, and despite the numerous holes, it’s quickly easy to tell which ones were meant for which screw or dowel. I put on some music, and it took me somewhere around 2 and a half hours to complete on my own. I highly recommend using a power drill with enough torque to speed up the process, otherwise, a standard Philips head with a good grip will suffice. This console has plenty of storage space, and enough area to hold a PS5 horizontally, as well as a Nintendo Switch with a lot of room to spare. The only feedback I have is for them to redesign the door to be one solid board with one handle, even though you can split the space inside in half with the “L”-labelled board. Overall it seems like a decent purchase for at least some level of quality control when space is more limited than your budget.

Strudy, Clean, and Sophisticated Stand
This stand was perfect for my needs. Easy to put together in my opinion, but I’ve been assembling things like this for years. I love the color and the compartments and space. The faux drawers are a cool touch. Once together, it feels very solid.
