Perfect case for iPhone 16 Pro. Nice soft button function. Nice Logo on side. Hard back and slight soft bumpy at edges. Raised edges for Camera protection. Fit nice and compatible with screen protector. Apple like quality at good price. Very clear transparent and no yellowing yet.

Fits the Pro 16 perfectly. Buttons are easy to access. I Replaced my MagSafe case with this and it seems to not get as hot when charging.

The Insignia™️ Hard-Shell Case for the “2024 iPhone Pro” (nowhere on the package does it call the handset the “iPhone 16 Pro”) is a minimalist design that offers protection on all sides of the phone except for the screen face. This is the case design I have become accustomed to over the years because it slides easily into my pants pocket and works well in the phone holder in my car. While not for those who need maximum protection such as construction workers, it should serve the common man (and woman) well in most circumstances. The case is a blend of two differing plastic composites. The four edges of the case are a thermoplastic polyurethane that is flexible enough to allow the case to stretch over the phone when you slip the case on…and the back of the case is a noticeably more rigid polycarbonate with less flex to it. These two different plastics are melded together in such a way that you would swear it is a single piece of blow-molded plastic. The materials used appear to be of high quality as the whole case is crystal clear with no visual imperfections, and there are no mold release lines or excess flashing. It is very nicely made, especially for such a modest price point. The package states that the case is made to withstand discoloration for a longer time (granted, it does not state it will not discolor at some point), and it has been my experience that polycarbonate does not turn yellow. The package also states that the case protects against drops up to 6 feet (onto a wood floor, according to the asterisks). I’m not about to test this spec with my phone, so you and I will have to take Insignia’s word for it. Insignia also states that the case “works with wireless charging”. Note that Insignia also offers another model of case very similar to this one that states it is compatible with MagSafe chargers and accessories. I do not have anything with any kind of wireless charging and I cannot test this feature, so I can only assume that this case is not compatible with Apple’s MagSafe wireless chargers, but that the case will allow for charging from other brands of wireless chargers that are not of MagSafe design (such as those built into the console of some cars). This hard-shell case has some minor design points that are similar to and different from other brands of cases with the same form factor. The edges of this case are smooth, and while they offer more “gripability” than a naked iPhone with no case, it does not feel as secure in the hand as a case with some texture or ribbing molded into the edges. The areas on the edges that are raised to accommodate four of the iPhone 16 Pro’s five buttons are a continuous covering with no slots molded around the button area that you press (that I assume are to enable the buttons to be actuated more easily). By not having these slots, there are less areas for dust and fine debris to work past the case and be trapped between the phone and the case. The fifth button, the “Camera Control” button has an area of the case cut out for it because of the need for your finger to make physical contact to allow some of its functions to work. The front of the case has a raised lip around the entire perimeter allowing you to place the phone face down on smooth surfaces and not have the screen contact the surface. The camera lenses on the back are well protected by a raised lip that surrounds the cutout to accommodate them. There are also cutouts for the speakers and for the USB-C jack and that one is generous enough that I had no issues fitting any of my USB-C cables to the jack or any older Lightning cables where I have added a Lightning-to-USB-C adapter to them. The Insignia™️ (model NS16-PHCCR) Hard-Shell Case offers good functionality with great value in an easy-to-use design. This case is made from 60% recycled TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) to help with sustainability. There is a 1 year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship, but none that offers compensation against damage to your phone. The only downside I could find is that this clear case allows you to see the somewhat boring palette of “colors” Apple chose for their flagship 16 Pro phones…black, white, silver, and tan…seriously Apple? Oh well, at least with the clear case you can see the Apple logo on the back.

I appreciate the sleek, modern design, which avoids adding unnecessary bulk to the phone—a common concern with many cases. Additionally, its lightweight and the shock absorption capabilities are exceptional.

I've never had a clear case for my phones, so when I got my hands on the Insignia Clear Hard-Shell Case for my iPhone 16 Pro, I was pretty excited. It protects my phone while still showing off its beautiful design. To begin, this case is extremely clear and pretty thin. Unlike many other plastic cases, this is indeed a hardshell case, so while there is some level of flex to the plastic, it won't bend a lot. All of the buttons are covered, and there are only cutouts for the new camera button, camera lenses, speakers, and USB port. The front of the case has a small lip, so if you place the phone front-face down, there is some space between the glass and the surface. Granted, it's a small space compared to other cases I've had. Then again, is was a thin case. The back of the case has a small lip around the camera cutout to protect the camera lenses. One neat "feature," I guess you can call it about the case, is there are small "feet" at the other three corners of the phone to help keep the phone from rocking when placed back-face down. You know how if you have no case or, on most other cases, your iPhone will rock because of the camera bump? This doesn't do that much. The case is smooth, making it easy to slip out of my hand. Other cases tend to have a level of grip on the sides, but not this one. It certainly lives up to its "clear" name. There are microdots on the phone's back panel that you will barely notice. I don't know if they serve a particular purpose or are there for aesthetic reasons, but there you have it. I've been using the case for a week now and have not dropped it, so I cannot speak to the durability of the case and how well it will protect your phone. It does not seem to have any scratches, so that's a plus. It is a fingerprint magnet, though, so if that annoys you, I'd look elsewhere. Overall, this is a great slim case if you're looking for a simple case to showcase your iPhone 16 Pro. I'd recommend it for its simplicity and clear design.

This Insignia Hard-Shell Case for the iPhone 16 Pro is a solid choice, especially for the price. Just keep in mind it’s a little bulkier and lacks MagSafe features.

This case has saved my phone from shattering about 5 times now, light weight yet very protective. Only potential downside is they tend to yellow a bit quickly but for this price I have no problem picking up replacements here and there.

This clear Insignia case for the iPhone 16 Pro offers solid protection without adding bulk. I love it! It has definitely saved my phone! I’m a hairdresser and it gets bumped, stuff tossed on it & unfortunately knocked & dropped. Of course I have insurance for my phone, but this case really really helps not have to use it, for me. It gets all kinds of abuse that average phone cases can’t hold up to even a little bit. I like the clear because it shows off my phone and the color, which I love ! This is the second clear Insignia case I’ve bought because I beat the crap out of my other one and it took over a year to get it to the point I needed a replacement. I I’m very likely to even buy a third one for my next phone.

I didn't want to hide the beautiful color of my cell phone, so this hard-shell clear case was perfect. Also, the case has a slight rubbery feel so that it doesn't easily slip out of my hand. Perfect!
