This mic is nice crisp audio and is small to hide it even in plain sight, i do recommend wearing BLACK CLOTHING to hide it better. My favorite part about this product is that it comes with 2 wind puffs, and 2 clips. the reason why i bought a new lav mic was because my old one didn't come with an extra clip when my clip broke. Nice cord length too. I would give it 100 stars if i could.

At the last minute I needed to record a groom during a wedding. My DSLR does not have an external mic input so I used this with an iPhone 6 in the groom's pocket. It worked well recording the soft-spoken groom, the bride, and the officiant. The sound quality was great, and I was able to sync the recording with the DSLR video. However, the mic is wired to only work with phones. After buying it I found other mics online with a switch that let you use them with either a phone or a camcorder. If I had had more time, I would probably have bought one of them.

I plan to use this with my old iPhone to record the audio of a guest speaker while I record the video using a second iPhone. By clipping this microphone on the speaker's shirt, I should be able to get a clearer and more consistent audio. Be aware that the plug will not fit in the headphone access port on my LifeProof protective iPhone case. I must remove the protective case to make this work.

Paid virtually nothing to improve my cell phone recording and video quality a million percent! This is that good. It's not the greatest for a lavolier microphone. However, with the cost factored in it is by far one of the greatest purchases I've made! This is a must-have you will improve your quality of audio on your cell phone a hundredfold.

It's a little too sensitive. I have to place the mic halfway down my shirt so as not to clip the audio. Also.. the windscreen is not very effective. In moderate wind it's basically useless to record with it. But this mic is really great for the price and convenience and I've used it many times with great success.

It sounds really good for a $20 lav. My only complaint is that it wouldn't work with my Zoom even with a quarter inch adapter. The only way I could get it to work was with my phone or computer.

Big things come in small packages. This mic is tiny but has great sound quality. It’s simple to use, convenient and travel size!

Great product for the price. Needed a mic to shoot camera phone videos at work. Works well. Cuts out if wearing a seatbelt over it or something puts pressure on wire.

I had issues with my phone mic so I bought this one to substitute. It worked pretty well. The clip was helpful plus it had a long cord

I like to video my mountain biking but the onboard mic of the Hero5 Black is horrible. Picks up just about everything thing you can imagine including the subtle noise of the 3 axis gimbal. And if there is wind (which there always is when you mountain bike) forget it. Watched a few youtube videos and found that by simply using a lavalier mic through my iPhone I could get much better sound. Sure enough the sound is far superior to the Hero5. I just clip it to my backpack strap and run the cord to the phone in one of the pockets and light up Voice Record Pro 7 on the iPhone. Outstanding. For 19 bucks it deserves 5 stars.

My audio files still had some white noise but for the price, I am happy with my purchase. However, the interviews in my videos are usually not covered up with music, so I will be switching back to the better mic back at school. I wouldn't recommend this mic as a full-time all-use mic. If you're just home for the summer like me and need something to work with for a few months, this will do.

I needed this to better pick up audio for when I shoot videos. It does just that. The clip is super conventient. I'm happy with this product.

Great sound quality but these only work with your phone not with actual audio equipment

I've been using this microphone for almost a year now, and I've experienced no issues with it's quality or performance. It's served me very well for the daily videos I record, and give a crisp, clean quality to the sound.

I use this microphone with my cellphone to make videos. It's awesome. It really reduces any background and wind noise, even when I'm in a loud, open area with tons of people around. For the price, it can't be beat. My videos sound clear and viewers hear my voice and not a whistling noise from the wind or tons of chatter.

You can't beat this lav mic for the price! It's perfect for plugging into your iPhone and then using the sound recorder function to record quality audio when you shoot videos.

This is a great little mic. It does exactly what it says it does. It is very clear. I've already used it several times and have been more than pleased with the results. I even bought the extension with it for doing video where you will need to see me completely. Very versatile mic. I would highly recommend.

This is a great product. I used this to post on YouTube and I can use this to aid when reporting. I wished it were compatible with my DSLR.
