Insignia isn’t USB wall charger works great with my iPhone 7 It charges my phone very quickly and I like the blue light that’s visible when you plug it into the wall outlet.

Nice charger. Full charge in about half the time than with factory samsung charger. Cable seems sturdy enough. Ends put resistance to 90° bends.

Just what I wanted. It seems very durable. I will be using it frequently.

It's a good charger and does what it's supposed to do. I use it for different items including, Mophie Juice Pack, and by changing cables I also charge my iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, GoPro Hero3+. Visually it looks nice with a blue LED that lights up in the "G" of the name but the face of it does scratch easily. Looks is not really important to me but thought I'd mention it. The USB cable locks into the charger and releases by pinching the sides of the cable tip. The cable is just under 3' 1/2". The charger itself is a little larger than the type that come with an iPhone and if plugged in next to another outlet on an extension cord it may block it (see image), on the wall it should be fine. Other than the face of the charger scratching and being a little on the large side it's a really good charger and worth having.

I first purchased an Insignia charger like about 5 years ago, and fell in love with it. It charges your electronic super fast, and it's compact enough, that you can carry it without any fuss. I recently had to purchase a new charger, because the old Insignia, by the way I had for almost 6 years, the line from the charge had recently frayed, beyond repair, so I had no choice but to get another one. I picked this baby up, and lo and behold, it has definitely upgraded. It is slightly smaller then the original, and it has more charging power, bonus!! I would highly recommend this charger for anyone with electronic contraptions.

I bought this charger to replace my original phone charger. First, I was pleasantly surprised with the small size, making it easy to transport and, most of all, with the power at 12W and 2.4A. Good for travel and compatible with 220V. My phone gets charged much faster than with my old charger. Good deal and great quality.

I bought this charger when I found myself at a shopping mall with a phone whose battery was rapidly going dead and without time to go home and get my regular charger. It is conveniently small, shrugs off occasionally being sat on or banged against a wall, and does what is was designed to do without a hiccup.

It charges. There really isn't a lot to say about a USB Charger. They are designed to convert a standard US electrical outlet 120 volts AC down to a standard USB 5 volts DC that will pretty much charge any device that uses USB cable charging. According to the website, this device can put out as much as 12 watts of power at 2.4 amps, (The math works, Watts is a Power unit and is equal to Voltage x Amps. So 5 Volts x 2.4 Amps = 12 Watts. So what does this mean, you may ask? Well a typical device hooked to a computer USB may only draw about 500 milliamps or .5 amps. This Insignia USB charger can more than handle the average device and can actually handle charging the bigger phones and tablets that can be rapid charged yet still safe for the smaller phones. This should be a usable substitute to charge one of the big Samsung Galaxy 5 or 6 phones or Galaxy tablets and other devices like an iPhone 4 or Galaxy 3 or 4. But I urge you to read the user manual of your device for specs and precautions. Insignia is the Best Buy brand, I would think Best Buy would do the research to make sure the device was well manufactured and safe before they would put their name and reputation on it. I would not hesitate in using this to charge any major brand phone or camera or device. A word of caution: I might be hesitant to use this charger or ANY charger to charge a cheap knock-off Chinese market e-cigarette item that could be using poorly manufactured Lithium Ion Batteries. It is not the charger that is the problem, but the cheap batteries, a lithium ION battery must be precisely charged to voltage and current to be safely charged. A poorly manufactured Lithium ION may not truly have the design physics to be the same specs. A cheap knock off Lithium ION battery that is not made to correct specs can be dangerous and cheaply manufactured electronics like e-cigarettes may not have voltage safety circuitry in them to insure the battery is not over charged or charged at wrong voltage or current. You have heard reports of batteries exploding. It is the batteries that are at fault, usually not the charger to blame, that a faulty or broken charger could cause a problem. I in most cases it is the bad batteries. This Insignia USB Charger is a high capacity capable USB charger, safe for major brand phones and tablets using properly designed and manufactured lithium ion batteries. Very safe for this application. The USB cable is swap-able, so they base will work with any USB cable plugged into it, USB, USB mini, old iPhone or new iPhone style cables. I am an engineer, I studied electronics. I have no hesitation in using this Insignia charger. It is just a generic Best Buy Brand. Should be safe for most applications of major brand products. Everything said here is only my opinion. Do your own research before buying and using. Apologies if I went into to deep of detail.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and it stoped taking a charge.. I was so worried that it was DEAD dead and hoped for an easy fix.. before it stopped working the battery steadily stopped holding a charge (I've had the phone for about a year) but when it went kaput I would go to plug it in and it would just beep like it wanted to take a charge but wouldn't. well I walked in and what do ya know... there was a Samsung counter with a very friendly helpful associate. Told me how the phones were needing a higher charge than initially thought so my original charger just wasn't strong enough for it. And I haven't had a single problem since. Its durable, it charges my phone at a pretty decent rate, and the battery holds charge for a long time, just like when it was new. Thanks best buy for yet again great customer service!!

So far this Iinsignia charger has worked perfectly. Smaller size than ones I previously had make it easy to plug into any plug space. Works great! Also priced less! I also use it for other things besides my phone.

My 5 yr old Kindle Fire HD was not holding a charge and was difficult to even get charged up. I took it to Best Buy fully expecting to have to buy a new one. The sales person there recommended I try a new charger first bc it may be the “brick” part that is bad. Perfect! It now charges very well with no problems. The new charger has a small blue light so I know it is on. Thank you! (My only issue is that the cord could be a little longer.)

I always have problems with chargers. This one charges my Note 3 rather quickly and seems fairly durable. For the price, probably should have invested in a longer cord.

I recently made the switch over from an iPhone to a Galaxy S6 Active so I needed to update my chargers. I bought this one to bring with me to work or to travel and I have not been dissappointed. It may not charge with the exact speed of the factory charger sent with your new phone, but it is dang close! If you put your phone into airplane mode or Power Saving mode during charge it will charge much faster. I haven't had any problems with heat or anything like that so overall I am very pleased with this product. A little pricey, but it's worth having an extra charge around.

Best Buy used to have these under the name 'rocketfish' however, despite the 'Insignia' branding, it is essentially the same product. My mom's usb charger that came with her galaxy s4 stopped working recently, and I had gotten her one like this, with the USB cable attached before, which she loves. Like that one, this one charges her phone and tablet (gen 1 Nexus 7) quickly, works great, and the old one shows no signs of dying, after heavy use for a year and a half. These are a bit more than other brands, yeah, but the quality is really there for these guys.

My son borrowed my Kindle Fire and charger that came with it. Then, he lost the charger. We have bought replacement chargers in the past, for other Kindles and haven’t had the best results. Needless to say, I wasn’t very excited about having to buy another one. This charger, however, has worked great! I followed the advise of someone who worked at Best Buy and decided on purchasing this one. I’m glad I did! It charges without any problems, is sturdy, and stays plugged into the Kindle without falling out.

I recently broke my phone charger. It wouldn't charge my phone easily. In other words, it would lose its connection to my phone if I so much as touched the cord, so I finally had to replace it. This new one is phenomenal! Not to mention, I asked for help while I was at the store and the guy who helped me was really helpful and nice!
