I half assumed I would still have to link this to my TV like a normal remote but I did not. I have an Insignia tv from about 6 years ago that I lost the remote too a while back. I got this remote home, took it out of the package, tossed batteries in it and hit the power button. On came my tv, all of the functions worked perfectly. Hassle free and would buy this a million times over.

The remote works well. It is practical and it functions. It is a little overly complicated, when it comes to buttons. It could be simpler. It was easy to connect to the tv.

This remote is the perfect replacement for my original Insignia TV remote! I put in the batteries, hit the power button, and my television came on immediately. No need for programming!

This was purchased for my brother to use. He somehow lost his remote that went with his big screen TV. He couldn't turn it on or do any thing with it. It said when I was doing the research for a remote that this one was compatible. It was very easy to get it paired to the TV and it works flawlessly. He is impaired but has had no issues working it and the TV. This is capable of doing a lot more than just the TV if you need it to and is a multi-function remote. If you need another remote, get this one-you won't be sorry.

In case your dog eats your original insignia remote, this is a good fallback. A little pricey, and bigger than what you’re use to but does the job without missing a beat on your insignia tv. no setup required.

Apparently the remote specific to my model of Samsung has been discontinued so I needed to find one that was compatible. I searched other sites, but when I checked Best Buy, they not only had available inventory in stock, but at my preferred location. I ordered it, and received an email in a short time for pickup. Worked fine, easy, no hassle to pick up at curbside. Brought it home, popped in the batteries and the remote was so compatible I didn't even have to rescan the channels. Turned it on, and everything worked fine.

Original tv remote was lost, the universal remote purchased worked fine and although it's a little larger than the original it has a few more features.

Great replacement for your remote if you lost your roku remote for your Insignia tv. The only thing I don't like is that there isn't a clear back button (to exit a youtube video or a netflix show page) like on a roku remote, if you click exit it goes to the roku home page, on some apps it will exit to the apps main page but not often. Great remote anyway it does what its suppose to. BUT TBH these remote prices are outrageous someone needs to make a great value or generic version of these cause dang.

I have a Insignia LED tv that still works excellent after 6 years except for the remote. I thought I would have to go through tuning a replacement but this one worked like it was made for my tv right out of the box. Fully recommend.

The channel +/- button fell off my dad's remote for his Insignia TV. This was the closest replacement I could find. Works well & was compatible. The only down side is that the power button and the other button at the top are BOTH red, so it confuses my elderly dad. The other downside is that the mute button is very small and hard for him to find, compared to his original remote. Very happy Best Buy had this in stock and we were able to pick up curbside during COVID lockdown. :)

When I looked around the store in the TV section, I could not find the remotes to replace the one I had for the Insignia TV. I asked a salesperson where they were and he showed me all the remotes they had. He then pulled the Insignia remote off the display and told me this would work. He was right, it worked as good as the original which got lost somewhere around the house. Very satisfied with the product and the service.

Had to get a new remote do to the other one I bought wore out. The on off button decided not to work. This one works really well . The only problem I have I watch tv at night in my bedroom and it is hard to see the buttons on it. More buttons on this one than the others I had. They are so tiny. Otherwise it is working fine as it is made for my Insignia Tv.

This remote is so easy to program. Since I already had an Insignia remote, I pretty much just put in the batteries and viola! It started working right away. I am so glad I purchased it. One downfall would be that it doesn't seem to have a light up button which my other one did, and that was handy but it isn't that important, I guess.

After I home break-in, I needed to purchase a new remote b/c the thieves took it but couldn't un-mount my TV off the wall. This remote has all the features of my original one. I would recommend this remote to anyone who has broken/lost/or stolen remote control to an Insignia TV that they're looking to replace.

This remote worked right out of the box (well, after installing batteries) and has given new life to our 10 year old Insignia TV. The original remote had stopped working. This is an equivalent remote, with a few of the buttons in different locations but the same size and feel of the old one.
