The sales man recommended this remote because of the ease of connecting and using it. It was very much as he said, and we just brought it home put in the batteries hit the button and the TV was changing channels. Best remote ever.

Excellent remote. I was so impressed that Best Buy had a replacement remote that immediately worked with my TV. It was easy to operate and use. I am very pleased with this purchase. I do recommend it.

Not as good as the remote that comes with the TV.. no quick action in commands and no voice interaction commands like the original remote… It’s a whole lot of not necessary for a TV remote 

Great replacement for Vizio television remotes!!! No programming was necessary, worked on all buttons out of the box. I have a newer Vizio Smart TV and an older Vizio with none of the bells and whistles, works great on both. Worth buying if you need a replacement remote.

This seems like a solid, quality remote. Instructions were somewhat simple. Unfortunately, it did not work on my Vizio and I will be returning it. But, I do not think the issue is the remote. I think its my TV ... likely the IR sensor (note, I did not buy my Vizio from Best Buy, I got it from another major department store a few years back). Anyway, if the IR sensor is not working on the TV, the remote can't operate the TV. I thought I'd try this, but no luck. Bummed. But, I was glad Best Buy had this at a reasonable price for me to try. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with using the buttons on the side of the TV to change inputs, settings, etc. If you are just replacing a lost remote (no TV issues like mine) you might want to give it a try (?). One extra note, I did get a firestick with a remote, and although it wont fully operate the TV (On/off, inputs, etc ...) it does work for wifi channels and the wifi TV guide, apps and Fire TV settings/updates. So it was a good partial solution for me.

My original Vizio remote stopped working. I purchased an aftermarket universal remote and quickly misplaced the user manual with the universal tv codes, rendering the remote useless. I found this Insignia remote which was ready to use right out of the box. No programming required, it works great!

so easy, this was a great purchase after my dog ate my original remote. set up automatically, I didn't have to do anything at all

The best thing I loved about this remote was the fact I hat all of I had to do was take it out of my he box, add the batteries and begin using it . No set up needed. The buttons are very easy to use because they are somewhat similar to the original remote of the TV

This remote is an excellent replacement remote for the Vizio TV. The ability to instantly copy program from the existing old remote is awesome. My teenage girls said “the remote is an absolute improvement and easy to use””love it”.

This was very easy to set up and unfortunately the Vizio TV doesn’t work very well and I wish I could return it, but the remote itself is amazing

I owe special thanks to the Best Buy Associate who recommended this product to me and showed me where in the store it was displayed. I never imagined that another company would market a remote control for VIZIO TVs, and when my VIZIO remote stopped working, I thought I would have to replace the TV even though I liked my present VIZIO TV. This new Insignia remote works better than my original VIZIO one ever did. I am greatly pleased with this product and with the Best Buy Associate who suggested it to me.

This remote is excellent. I did not need to even program it for my TV. It programmed itself.
