Q: Will this converter work for a hair dryer and a curling iron?
A: No. I tried with my flat iron and I burned out my flat iron. First time ever in 3 years HORRIBLE

A: Yes, you will be able to use this adapter/converter. If your laptop is dual voltage (able to use 110-120V and 220-240V) you can connect it to the power outlet using just the adapter. If you have to also use the converter to convert the power, you will only be able to use it for 15 minutes at a time. This is standard for all converters due to the processes involved in stepping the power down.
Q: I bought tv here in usa and bringing to the Philippines is this going to work there?
A: Hi, Asly. This Adapter/Converter is designed to work with small mobile devices and it is limited to a 15 minutes use by 10 minutes rest in order to properly work and protect your products. A: Cell phones and camera chargers both use universal chargers so all you need is the adaptor portion of the kit. Don't rely on the voltage converter as it is meant for a max duty cycle of 15 minutes.
