Strong and sturdy base that is steel reinforced underneath. And its steel post that your tv mounts onto SWIVELS! This product came packaged in a 17.9 lbs box, so it has weight to it to keep it in place in addition to the weight of a tv that it supports (up to 60 lbs). At its lowest assembled position, the bottom edge of my (24 lbs) 50” 4K tv is raised almost 6 inches high — leaving enough room for a soundbar, game controller(s), headphones or your own arrangement of decorative items to call home. My current setup is 36” wide and is perfect the way it is. My 50” tv needed at most 43-44” of space for its supplied feet to sit on. This item saved me $$$ from having to buy a new tv stand wide enough to accommodate the feet distance that the tv originally requires. The footprint of the Insignia swivel stand base measures approximately 25.5” long and 13” deep — so it fits perfectly within my 36” wide setup! Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. Sure, there are tempered glass versions similar to this out there but I did not want to want to worry about any incidents of glass breakage. I’ll take “steel reinforced” over the possibility of “glass breaking”any day. On a final note, ALWAYS ALWAYS have another person help you place your tv onto the swivel mount! I could not see what I was doing trying to “hook” the back of the tv onto the swivel post whilst lifting a 50” wide “lightweight” tv up carefully from the front — BY MYSELF!! Save yourself the trouble, follow the instructions and ask for help!!!

It works perfectly for my 65' samsung. The tv stand im using right now is too short to stand the tv and this stand fits nice and comftorable with a nice lifted gap. The swivel is smooth with no signs of losing balance to tip over. Very easy to assemble

Im sooooo happy with this purchase! This was the only metal table top tv stand i could find that swivels! The tempered glass ones can unexpectedly shatter after a few years. It fits my 65 inch tcl roku tv. Was easy to install and is very very sturdy.

The stand went together easily and provided several height options for mounting tv. It has adequate swivel side to side for comfortable viewing.

Love it. It is sturdy and attractive, and I love that it swivels. It was assembled and installed by the Geek Squad who delivered and set-up the new 65” TV. I wanted a bit of elevation so the sound bar could tuck-in below it, so I had it put on the 2nd tier. It looks perfect.

Was looking for the least expensive option for my TV and not wanting to take the wall mount route and happened upon this stand. Easy to assemble with the instructions and everything worked out on the end with the look I was hoping for. Highly recommend this awesome inexpensive TV stand.

This stand is the perfect solution for our issue: the legs on our new 40" Vizio television were spaced too far apart to fit onto the narrow cabinet on which the television would rest. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. The assortment of bolts/washers (each size group in its own labeled pack) included provided the right hardware for attaching the supports to the back of our TV. Two Philips-head screwdrivers (one large, one small) are all the tools required. Even though we had only one power cord to deal with, we used the built-in cord organizer to hide it - gives a nice uncluttered look from the front. I would recommend this stand to anyone who is looking for a central pedestal stand.

Works perfect and height is adjustable. Easy to assemble and very nice and sturdy.

Because we have a piece of furniture that was not wide enough for the two holders that come with a 50 inch TV, this sturdy stand was the answer to this issue. Thank you Best Buy for solving our problem!

I have a 2015 Vizio 65” M65-C1. It fits perfect. It will take (3) people to mount it. Two people to hold TV and one to hold the stand straight because the stand will swivel. I recommend for tbis tv, extremely easy to set up and sturdy.

I like this stand. I was able to assemble and mount the television on it in about 30 minutes. It would have been easier with two people for adding it to the TV. It is solid, seems durable. All of the parts were included. Great instructions, simple to follow. Love the cord channel to hide the cords.

Love this tv stand. It is VERY sturdy. I was concerned about it being flimsy to sit on my dresser but it is great quality and not flimsy. It’s worth the price! It also swivels witch is a plus so you can watch from different angles! I have a 55” tv on it.

Although i dont have my tv anymore this held my 58in up very well….. It was super easy to put up I did it myself and the side to side motion was nice as well made it easy to see the tv at a different angle!! The picture i posetd is the only one i have before i took thw tv down! Unfortunately i purchased the tv from another company and it arrived broken i didn’t realize this until after i set the tv up and turned it on lol but the stand was amazing no issues at all!!

We bought this stand to use with our new 55" Hisense U8 TV as we wanted to raise it off the entertainment unit and allow for the placement of a soundbar below the screen. The instructions weren't that great, more pictographic than verbal. As it a "universal" stand it took some work to figure out how to get it to fit our TV. We got it done however, and it is sturdy and stable. The soundbar fits nicely underneath and we'd recommend it if your looking for a replacement for the simple stand which comes with most units.

Aesthetically beautiful and extremely sturdy. Love the 360 swivel action. Gives TV a larger appearance. Reasonably priced. Only regret is not buying sooner.

I needed a swivel stand for my TV which is located in a built-in next to a fireplace. I had to stay within the height requirement and this stand was the only one I could find that look like it would do that. It fit just fine and works great. The plastic base is a little chintzy but otherwise no complaints. There was additional adjustment besides what I did so I actually could have gotten it lower to the stand as well.

Bought it for my LG CX 65" because I have a sound bar and I cant mount the tv on the wall because I'm renting and the soundbar blocked the lower part of the tv with the original stand. Was not interested in the swivel option jut wanted to be mounted higher so the soundbar could be bellow it. It was kind of a pain to mound it in the base because it kept swiveling and had to tape it down so it would not move so we could mound it in the stand and screw it to it. but after that it works wonderfully for the price and the added bonus of swivel . the only other gripe would be the lower part of the stand is kinda slippery and I had to put some feet on the soundbar so it did not slip . but apart from that it works fine.

At first I wasn’t too convinced that it would hold the flatscreen, but I like that it swivels. It’s a great buy!

Very sturdy and it was pretty simple to set up. A lot easier with 2 people, though.

Really is the right way for a TV to fit on a stand. Easy setup and install. Looks great!
