Q: Does this adapter need a driver to be installed in order for it to work?
A: THis is not PLUG AND PLAY for earlier operating systems.. windows 7or 8 for example... just FYI.. i dont even see wheer i can download the driver. i have windows 7 bought this and no NOT PLUG AND PLAY... my Ethernet adapter got fried from lightning storm so got this.. so i cant just plug it in and play and have it download drivers.. i bought this so i can get internet.. need drivers first.. cant even find drivers for it.. what a waste of time.. i even asked the keeps before ahand and said hey ihave a a dead nic.. can i just lug in windows 7 no internet and it will work.. yes sir.. pug and play.. it is not plug and play
