A: yes, they work fine for Android phones, that is what I have
Q: Will these work in a Samsung?
A: on my pixel (android) it works but the only feature that you won't get is adjusting the volume from the headset. The mic works, but based on my android which is what the samsung is I would play it safe and say the volume feature does not work from the headset.
Q: How long do these headphones usually last?
A: The last pair I purchase that my daughter lost lasted for about 2 years. They were still working had not she misplaced them

A: overall, the earbods are about 46" long...32" up to the "Y" and 14" past the "Y"
Q: Does this microphone work when plugged into my computer?
A: Missy74, I use the "EARBUDS WITH MIC AND VOLUME CONTROL" on both my desktop PC as well as my Windows laptop and find the performance to be outstanding! However they do have but one plug that combines connections for both phones and mic. So, the answer to your question depends on whether your computer has a separate mic input or a combination headphone/mic input. If your computer has the combo input, the mic should work, although the volume control for the phones may not, as it is primarily designed to be compatible with IOS devices. Thanks & Good Luck
