Great product, bought this one because my old one went out an had my friend to install this one he only had about three wires to attach and the bracket easily mounted on to the old one. Works great sounds great and gets the job done.

Extremely loud. Much louder than the original that came with the house. Has an extra blade and chops up well just very loud

This garbage disposal works great. It’s a little smaller than the one you might be replacing so make sure you have a long enough PVC pipe. My old one was pretty gross and needed to be replaced. This one was really easy to put in. I did it myself. It leaves a lot of room to put stuff under your sink because it’s not so gigantic

This disposal surprised me! I’ve seen and heard many of them in my lifetime and this one is the quietest. It works beautifully and I’ve not had any problems with it. I’m still amazed at how quiet it is compared to others especially my last one.

There was a minor glitz in the electrical hookup with a plug and socket not being compatible, but the technician skillfully redid the wiring and everything works very well. He went the extra mile when he could have said--"that is your problem--good bye" and left us without an operating disposal.

We bought this inSinkerator - Badger 5 1/2hp disposer to replace an exact model we had for more than 10 years. The motor in the old one finally quit. All measurements of the new disposer fit the old one. Removing the old was a bit challenging but not overwhelming. (Save the power chord!!!) Working on the project by myself, it took about an hour. Without help, lifting the new disposer, keeping it in place, juggling the parts and tools are challenging ... but do-able. You will need plumber's putty. Keep the old power chord because it is not included. The new Badger 5 fits nicely under our sink. It is quiet. We are pleased with the purchase.

I bought this as a replacement for my burnt out old disposer. There are lots of options out there but I decided to get this as it fits my family needs and the price is competitive enough. Overall, the installation process is straightforward as long as you also have the power cord kit. Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong with it. My only challenge with this is when it comes to hooking it up and clamping it with 2 screw drivers or the tools that came with it. I think this may need 2 people to make it easier as it's quite heavy with just one hand trying to align the clamps while turning it. I hope in the future, products like this will have an easy way of screwing up the clamps. Because once it gets misaligned, you'll repeat the process. I have to take some breaks to relax my arms when doing this as it take me couple of re-tries to get it properly hooked up. But other than that, it works as expected. No complaints so far.

Great disposal…very dependable with plenty of power, and not too loud…

The product is great but install was not good. Installers forgot to install conduit and refused to when it was pointed out. I had this installed at a rental property. Tenant is handy and fixed errors. Also, installers didn’t bring plumber’s putty. Yenant had to rush to Home Depot to buy some.

After reading all the reviews we decided to go with the Badger 1/2 HP. I was lucky to read enough into the product to know that I needed to purchase the power source separately. We have not been disappointed.
