I love the fact that the screen is detachable and a built in mic.

We absolutely love this camera! It’s incredibly small, lightweight, and fits easily in your pocket, which makes it perfect for traveling. The picture quality is excellent, and we’ve been especially impressed with how well it performs in low light settings. The zoom is amazing, and the sound quality is very good as well. One of our favorite features is the removable touchscreen you can control the camera from a distance, which is great when we both want to be in the shot. My wife and I love to travel, and we can’t wait to take this camera along with us and capture all of our new memories. For something so compact and lightweight, it packs a lot of great features. Definitely a 5-star purchase!

Okay this camera completely blew me away. The 8K video is next level — zoomed in shots still look crisp and clean, no blur at all. Battery lasted me a whole day of nonstop shooting which never happens with other cameras I’ve tried. Setup was stupid easy too, had my footage edited and posted the same night through the app. Build quality feels premium, love the Cosmic Black color, and the bundle came with everything I needed right out of the box. Only tiny thing is big files take a sec to sync over wifi, but that’s it. Genuinely one of the best purchases I’ve made this year — if you’re on the fence just get it.

Overall, I’m happy with this camera. The video quality is excellent, it’s compact, and very easy to carry around. It’s a fun camera to use and works well most of the time. However, I’ve experienced a couple of issues. Occasionally, the screen freezes, and sometimes it shows a connection error when I turn it on. The only way to fix it is to power it off and turn it back on again. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s a little frustrating. If Insta360 can improve the software stability with future firmware updates, this would easily be a 5-star product.

Excellent image quality for both still pic as well as video. awesome zoom capability. Tracking does work good. Just not sure how it behaves for multiple people tracking. Best part is detachable screen and remote. Only con I see is in adjusting gimbal movement features . needs some quick set up buttons.

Overall, if you're considering the Luna Ultra, I highly recommend purchasing it through Best Buy. The buying process was simple, convenient, and reliable, making it one of the easiest tech purchases I've made in a long time.

Visually, the Insta360 Luna Ultra looks great and feels well-built, but functionally, it fails to deliver. My main issue is the complete lack of live exposure tools. Without an EV meter, histogram, or zebra stripes directly on the screen, you are essentially flying blind. You can't rely solely on a small LCD preview to judge exposure, which frequently leads to ruined shots. Even worse, when shooting in full Manual mode (with ISO, shutter speed, and aperture completely locked), the camera suffers from random, uncommanded exposure jumps and brightness flickering during video recording. A camera at this price point needs reliable manual controls and proper monitoring tools. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot trust this camera for serious content creation

I’ve been extremely happy with the Luna Ultra. I upgraded from the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and for me, this has been a significant improvement. The image quality is excellent, but my favorite feature is the detachable screen. It makes filming from different angles much easier and adds a level of flexibility that I didn’t have before. The improved zoom is another standout feature and has been a noticeable upgrade over my previous camera. If you’re coming from an Osmo Pocket 3 or looking for a compact camera with excellent image quality and more versatility, I highly recommend the Luna Ultra. It’s been a fantastic upgrade for my content creation setup.

I didnt know which one to get in terms of small gimbal camera. But i decided to go with insta360 luna ultra and man! We are happy! The video is so clean and how easy it is to use! Dont buy other cameras, get this!

This is a great pocket camera. The video quality is amazing. Insta360 really did it big here. The ability to zoom in and not lose quality is a plus.

This one is just fabulous and i use it for still and video as my main camera. I have added accessories they make for it. Fantastic picture and video quality and very well made camera with many features it has. I will recommend it to anyone 100 percent. I am excited to take it to cancun mexico in a week for 10 days and then to india for 7 weeks on tour!!

I am not a vlogger or content creator like some, so some of the features people want like webcam or streaming mean nothing to me. I am a family man who use for everyday family life and events. It exceeds my needs and is a great camera for me. I would recommend to anyone. I understand it's not for everyone and that's okay.

This is by far the best vlogging camera for 2026. Better than Osmo Pocket 4P. My favorite feature is detachable screen which makes it super easy to frame myself in the shot. Love it!!!

I am pleasantly surprised of the capabilities of this new Insta360 Luna Ultra. There's a good possibility this will replace my everyday carry of my mirrorless 85% of the time, reducing weight and clutter but also giving big performances. They have already made some improvements with the zoom functionality with their recent update.

Lightweight, great functions and reasonable price make this camera a winner of my selection of video camera for travel. For 4k/120 or 8K filming, though, you don't get to do continuous zooming at the same time, that's the only thing pitiful.
