Insta360 - Mic Pro (2TX+1RX)

This is my first venture into mics and I wanted one that could represent the office in some way. I came across this a few days after it was released, literally 1 video of it anywhere, and the ability for logos to be utilized was the major factor that won me over on it. I want to stress this is the first mic again. But setting it up to use straight out of the box couldn’t be any easier than it is. The app is super simple and easy to navigate. I am an audiophile, but in regards to headphones and speakers, never thought about it on mics as I never had a reason to. The amount you can change through both the app and the receiver gives you the ability to set things EXACTLY how you want them. The internal recording is spot on and a feature that can’t be understated just for peace of mind. I have not had a drop yet but I have taken it around to just mess with and test and I have no worries with this thing now because of that. It comes with a case that is nice and sleek, items transparent and you are able to see the logos through it, while not being gawdy. Magnets are super friggin strong, you can go on any time of run, hike, climb and as long as you are cognizant of where the mic is you are not going to lose it. Think of a 90’s ticked off mom or dad taking their kid by the arm to lead them to where the did something and tried to hide it from the parents…if this was around they could grab the mic and the kiddo would be helpless at that point. Sound quality is superb and haptic feedback is something that is actually felt to the point you don’t have to wonder. While I haven’t been through all the features yet I have no doubt they all will live up to my impressions of having the product for a few months. And I have to throw this in, because it’s part of the product if you ever need it. But Insta’s customer service…I don’t know what kind of “happy products” you all are giving the employees there, but can you please for the love of everything holy give it to other tech companies!? I had to use them because I also purchased a Link 2 cam I was having issues with on an 2026 Asus zen Duo. They did not waste any time, did not try to belittle me for using them (I typically never call CS but this case I was legit stumped on and broke down and did so), sounded and acted like they GENUINELY CARED, didn’t put me on hold when they knew they were going to have to escalate it for more research, and then get this part…,they actually followed up twice after the initial call (once for the fix and once to make sure it stayed that way) after that. Along with follow up emails with instructions and synopsis of everything we went over. So having that peace of mind is awesome. Truly can not recommend this enough, and the e-ink display isn’t something to shy away from. The quality is great and I have gotten comments on it from videos of those that have seen it and were easily able to make out the office logo. I was a bit skeptical because of the size of it, but with the quality of the logo and the internal recording capabilities and storage that went out the window quick. Great product!
