The best quality, resolutions. The best cámara for all

I'm coming from the X4 so the X6 is a major upgrade from the X4. The first thing I noticed was the significantly longer battery life. I had two extra batteries for the X4 and after using the X6 for a few weeks, I'm leaning toward not even getting a single extra battery. The smaller size and shape of the X6 is really nice, it just feels more natural. The built-in memory is a big plus as are the larger sensors and much better low light performance. One big negative at this point is that it doesn't work properly with the very expensive preview remote. Hopefully Insta360 comes out with a firmware fix or it's going to be a $150 doorstop.

The canera seems to keep getting better every year. Now has built in memory and the battery last longer. Delivers amazing videos.

This is my fourth insta360 X series camera, and they just keep getting better and better. Image quality is amazing, from videos to stills. I use the camera for cycling and hiking. Capture everything around you. My favorite feature is the ability to track subjects. Editing within the app or on the desktop is super intuitive. Love this camera!

Great quality, easy editing, small and compact. Probably the best 360 camera from insta shooting 8k at 60fps

Great camera, easier to manage than previous versions. Good quality image and battery duration.

My previous camera is the X4 and that still works great but most of my content is shot in low light conditions and the X6 with its Pure Video mode is leaps and bounds compared to the X4. I couldn't tell you how it stacks up compared to the X5's pure video mode. If most of your content is for social media, insta360's software is the clear winner.

I took the X6 out to record for the first time, to test it out before using it for an upcoming trip. It did record well, and I liked the functionality of it. I tested in light conditions. A cool afternoon. I did try to film in a couple inches of water in a small stream for maybe 1 to 2 minutes. It seemed to work ok. But a few moments later noticed some lense fog while filming. The battery was getting low, so I figured I would turn it off and go charge it. I couldnt power it off. I opened the battery compartment for the first time and noticed moisture. I let everything dry out for a few days and tested again. It wouldnt power on. It was bricked. So for me, this thing didnt pass the water resistance test at all. The battery door has some real seal issues. I returned it to Best Buy with no problems. But I have no idea how well the videos looked. I was not able to retrieve any videos from the non functioning unit. The BB employee said she really liked her X5. So I decided to exchange and get the X5 instead. I have not had a chance to test the X5 yet, but I do immediately see a huge difference in the models. The X5 has the seal built right into the battery rather than a weird door, and it feels much more secure than the X6. I think the X5 would be more water resistant. So if thats something you are concerned about, consider the X5 not the X6.
