So there is conplaints about tenps but more than likely they are doing something wrong or using poor cooling. Im running a kraken 360 aio and my temps are cool. Gaming in helldivers 2 or fortnite which are more cpu intense, im around 58-62c all day. Idle around 24-29c. Just do the microcode update to your bios and you are golden. The cpu is a beast.

Bought this cpu with the integrated graphics because I like to swap and test gpus. I also game extremely heavy and love the performance. I will say thermals are a little less than ideal but nothing a good 240mm or 360mm AIO won’t fix. Paired this with a 240mm Corsair AIO and absolutely love the performance!

It improved my overall system performance, faster, and improved my gameplay in terms of FPS. Goong from a 12th gen I5 to this was a good investment fornmy new build. My only problem is the 14700K does run hot. So a good cooling AIO or something woild be needed in my opinion.

This chip runs cooler and is faster than my i9 12900k. So far I’ve been gaming on this chip with over 20hrs in and my system has been much snappier with this CPU upgrade.

I was debating to buy an i9-14900K, Then i9-13900K, reading and comparing and i couldn’t understand why the difference is knlg a few dollars, looked like another gimmick from Intel. So i said let me check if i7-12700K upgrade to i7-14700K and the answer is short, Save over $200 by not upgrading to i9-12900K, i9-13900K and i9-14900K, Why? I7-14th gen is the newest gimmick from Intel. i5 looks so much appealing then looks like a gimmick that makes i7 is the best middle rangne that beats the i9 by not having much oerformance difference cause it’s unoticable but money wise. I can’t express how much i hate Intel for this scam. Do i trust Intel anymore? Hell no. Bottom line my favorite games ever is State of decay: juggernaut edition, When i upgraded hesitantley from i7-12700K which i was excited about, After days of confusing research it was a huge performance difference and glad i did this upgrade.

Amazing performance for price. I upgraded from an older gen amd and the difference is night and day. Only drawback is that the temperatures under load run towards the hotter side, but not dangerously high.

Got thos for my GF as and upgrade from an 11th Gen i5 and let me tell you that this CPU is Soooooo much faster and quick.. The temps are a tad glhigher than i like BUT she never has throttle and funs like a champ!!

Very good CPU. Coming from 12700K on a MSI Unify X I am able to run it daily @ 5.6 GHZ all P-Core and can do 5.7 with some bios settings and tuning the memory. XTU is pretty good tool to use with this to if you're unsure how to set up bios for good overclocks. IMC is good but not great. My GSkill 6800 can get tighter timings on my 12700K. But otherwise, a good CPU for the money.

I upgraded from a i5 14400f and i love it. After install did the bios update and my temps have not been an issue. Definetly worth the money

People be hating on this cpu. I don’t know why. It is very fast and runs kinda hot but I am using a hyper fan that keeps it right at 94c under heavy load.

Absolutely love this processor. Maintains good temps with a 360mm AIO, and gets fantastic fps in games such as COD and the last of us. No complaints whatsoever and I’m very happy with my purchase!

Got this cpu paired with a 5070 1440p and have no bottle necking issues at all great high end 1440p cpu

Hello, i recently upgraded from a ryzen 7 1700, and the jump in performance is astronomical. I went from around 10 fps in fortnite low settings to around 150 in fortnite alone. I would recommended this if you are running any older cpu even though it is pricy it is completely worth it.

Really good processor, close to i9 in multi task performance, If you are going to buy a 13700k it is preferable to put the extra to carry this one with 20 cores.

It works much much better than my i9 runs colder aswell
