This CPU is exactly what I hoped that it would be. Performance has been great and I haven’t had any heat issues (even running VR and hi res games). The only thing I’ll comment on is the very loud cooling fan that comes with it. That thing is loud and dangerous. The blades on it are like razors! Do yourself a favor and get a quiet cooler like the CoolerMaster and you’ll never have to worry about temp OR noise.

Great processor, very fast and it performs well! But the included heat sink and fan is tiny and feels cheap. The stock cooler does not even have a copper core like previous stock intel coolers. Consider an aftermarket cooling solution. But, with the stock cooler it runs just fine.

This was the last piece of a 2019 platform upgrade from a 2600k. The threads stay the same but the performance is double. The H310 motherboard was released/bought first in January. Don't need more until years down the line. By then I hope I can double the performance like I did with the 9700 from 2600k.

Works perfect for what I wanted it to do. Definitely reccomend. I know the price point is a little higher to the AMD but I'm really glad I went the intel route

I upgraded from an i5-8500, and instantly noticed a HUGE difference. Much more usage available when playing games, so I am able to livestream at 720p60fps with no issues. I recommend this processor!

Great value and works great, not Hyper Threat, but has higher clock speed

8 core but no hyper threading, the 9700k performed best with gaming. If you do workstation or rendering look elsewhere.

Use this for 3D graphic design in an office environment. No complaints here, this thing is great!
