I purchased this KVM switcher for my work-from-home office setup. Initially, I had an issue where the switcher was misidentifying my high resolution gaming monitor causing the image of the extended laptop to be strecthed across the screen. I contacted IOGEAR directly and they put their software engineer team on the case. The service desk technicians took great care to keep me updated and - before long - the software engineers created a new firmware to fix the issue and sent it my way. I could not be happier with my purchase and with their level of commitment to resolve my issue. I recommend them highly.

Pretty good KVM, works as intended picture quality is great, and my peripherals work as intended, no complaints.

I use an older laptop and a newer desk top and often need to access both for work. Although it doesn’t take a long time to switch all the cables, it’s very inconvenient, especially if I need the one that’s not hooked up. The set-up for this switch was easy and straightforward with all the cables that you would need. You can use an additional power cable if more power is needed for peripherals, that is not provided, but I don’t need it. There were a few minor glitches in set-up, almost like the computers were getting used to it. Now it’s pretty seamless except for a short lag, which is not an issue for me. Switching to my desk top, I get a keyboard error, but it goes right past it and works like it should Overall, I’m very happy with the product, and would recommend it to anyone who needs to share peripherals with two computers. For my rig, the cables were plenty long enough, it’s just that there are a lot of them. I use zip ties to keep them organized.

The computer cables are ~4' long, the computer toggle switch is noticeably longer at ~6'. The KVM works as expected, including having a wireless keyboard/mouse USB dongle plugged into it. I'm removing one star because the monitor blinks occasionally, it hasn't caused any issues, just a little disconcerting. TR

I have two laptops one's personal and one is for work and I had to integrate it into my workstation. I actually only bought this thing for the USB hub to go into my docking station so I haven't even connected it to my printers because my printers are in the docking station. But it works great! Little bit excessive for what I needed it for but I wanted the option to expand down the road. It's really convenient being able to hit a button and switch from one system to another at my desk.

Will need to update but m7ch needed since i work remote and have two laptops i need to work from but mimited space

Great for the price...I do find that my screen flickers periodically seems like a firmware upgrade needed

product is working as expected. I'm showing a little lag between transition between the two ports.

Works phenominally well. Cords should be about a foot longer when the need to mount box on wall out of the way. I definitely would recommend this unit.

50% of the time it fails to reconnect to my second device. Only works after rebooting

Creates a noise hum when trying to use with mac breakout box. Windows setup works fine.

Even though it took me a bit to figure out the many cords that came with it and how it was setup, once I did, I couldn't be more pleased with this system. I have 2 gaming towers running off the same monitor now. It's saving me a lot of space and can do everything from the same monitor so I'm thrilled with this system.
