I have had different types of cellphone holder for the car - clip on, suction cup, the kind that goes in the cup holder… they were all okay. But after I purchased the Samsung fold I was not able to use any of the previous holders anymore because the Galaxy fold is very heavy. So we went to a Best Buy store to look for some different accessory that could hold that much weight. At first, I thought it was weird to install a phone holder in the CD player (thank goodness our car has one!). So we purchased this cellphone holder and Boom!!! It t did the trick! I’ve had it since February and it holds the phone perfectly. You can adjust the angle and everything. The only reason for the 4* is that I wish it could hold the Galaxy Fold in the unfolded position (open). Other than that, it works great and I’d certainly recommend it!

This item is totally genius. I’ve used a couple of other types but they had their flaws (blocking A/C vent, moving the rear view mirror), but this is brilliant. I don’t use my card’s CD player, so this is perfect. It holds my iPhone 13 perfectly (with the Apple brand leather case mind you). My car is a 2008 Honda CR-V.

Sturdy with minimal shaking while driving. Love the button that allows you to just push phone against the back and it snaps down and grabs the phone. One of the only I have found that will actually hold an iPhone max with an otter box case on it. A little expensive. Probably $5-$10 less is where it should be priced.

The mount was easy to install and it holds my iPhone 14 Pro securely. I seriously love how easy it is to mount and unmount my phone. It makes accessing phone a lot easier.

Easy to use ,the phone doesn’t drop, out easy to put in the cd slot, and I can easily charge my phone as it is already in the holder.

The device fits in the CD slot holding it securely. It is a big improvement over my previous holder that was attached to the air vents and flopped around with each turn and was reasonably priced. For my particular vehicle the device blocks the use of my A/C controls so I have to manipulate it to have access to the controls. If the user still listens to CD’s or has no CD slot in the vehicle you might want to consider another type of device.

Great CD mount for my 2016 Honda Odyssey. It is sturdy and fits tight. Once you insert the mount into CD opening, you need to push the bottom clip all the way up to make it tight (see photo). Phone sits well and the lightening can be attached on the back of stand. At last, a reliable phone mount.

I use it every single day with no issues. I like the fact that it’s mounted in the cd player without blocking car vents. It’s better than using suction cup mounts as well.

Works perfect! Works better than any suction cup windshield mount. Best 20 bucks I have ever spent!

I have a CD slot in my car that's rarely used, so it was the perfect cell phone holder that uses a CD slot mount. It's very stable, and I never feel like it's going to fall off my dash or air vent. Additionally, I have credit card or battery cases, making my phone thicker, but this mount also can hold the phone w/ those cases.

I originally had the one that went on the air vent. It kept falling down and wasn't stable. I bought this one and have not had it budge once. Stays in place and I can move the head with the twist nut in the back of it. Would recommend if you have cd player and don't use it.

Slides into your cd player slot. Open holder and it closes around the phone. No sipping or dropping the phone. Can still use the charging port. Dosen't overheat like vent clipping. Highly recommend.

Very handy for use with cell phone in car. Sometimes the movable side holders get stuck in position but that may be because of the wallet-like device that I keep my phone in. When I only use the phone by itself, it works well. It slides easily into my CD slot, and when I leave the car, I put it under the car seat.

Works great, love the clamping feature. Fits perfectly in my cd player which I never use. It can be adjusted pretty well

Stable mount, only down side was the rubber coating on mounting anchor can peal off if cd slot is very tight.

Works flawlessly, all the others would either detach or fall off, if you have a CD player, your good to go.
