A: The unit comes with a flat disc that is supposed to adhere to your dash and then the suction cup adheres to the disc. The suction top adheres to the disc exceptionally well, but getting the disc to adhere to the dash was nearly impossible. I actually wound up using superglue to get the disk to adhere to the dash.
