This hands free waste bin was super easy to set up. Instructions were clear and concise. Absolutely love the censor in front of the garbage can and it keeps the metal lid smudge free. Battery is simple to replace as well as the filter. The filter does its job absorbing any odor that may come from inside and has kept my kitchen smelling clean.

Glad I went with this particular trash can. I love the size and shape, because it has a small footprint, it doesn't take up a lot of floor space. It's also a bit taller than other cans because of its shape, and since I'm a tall person, it's perfect for me (or anyone else). Make sure you get "tall" kitchen trash bags for this model, otherwise it will have a gap at the bottom of the can. And of course it opens automatically with its sensor at the top front side of the can opening. It's been so useful when I have something to throw away, I no longer need to step or touch anything. Its definitely convenient to have and it makes life easier. The like that its stainless steel and the lid is a sturdy plastic that should last for a while. Takes D batteries, so make sure you buy them separately (or get the plug in adapter, sold separately).

This trashcan looks great in the kitchen and matches all of our appliances. I love that there's an automatic lid. The only downside with that is it constantly opens when we just walk by so we have to be careful with that.

This is a really good trash can I just wave at it for it to open because it reminds me of the trash monster on Sesame Street

It's great not fumbling with trash can lids. The lid is quiet, responsive, and stays open for a reasonable amount of time before closing. The lid uses very little energy so batteries last much longer than I expected.

I love not having to open the trash can or have to see what's in there at all times. The top open very easily, sometimes when you just pass by but the convenience is amazing. I never thought I would get excited about a trash can until I bought this one.

So pleased with my trash can purchase. I wanted something that looked nice and a little different from my white plastic can. My main objective was to find a trash can that my dog wouldn't get it. This was the best solution. Nice looking, and the touchless feature makes it so convenient. My family thinks I'm a hero, although I'm sure that will be short lived. Best of all, so far so good with the dog situation. Would definitely recommend.

Works very well in my new home. Easy to use and seals smells in great. Don't have to keep a lot of GermX in the house much anymore.

I love this trash can! I love the look in the kitchen only thing is that is makes the garbage smell really bad so the lining that makes it smell good, is worth it!

Great garbage can! Be sure to buy some D batteries if you don’t want to run a plug cord to power. It takes 2. My first 2 batteries are still going 10 months later!

Wanted a covered trash can for our condo—this is a perfect size looks great and has stood up to repeated use for almost two years! Will buy another!

For the price, it’s a great product. A lot better than the previous brand I had from Walmart. The only downside is the small opening. I do like how tall it is though!

So glad I bought this. Looks nice, easy to clean, and I love that I don't have to worry about opening and closing the lid. I highly recommend this.

Overall, garbage can is light, easy to put together, and looks like the site. Like the narrow tall build. However, 1) Garbage can had some build quality issues in the cover--some edges were rough/almost a melted plastic look--seems like factory production issue. Perhaps I got a bad one. 2) Can opens too often when you walk by--even without waving for it to open. I did this test before trying to officially put it to use, since I have to pass the can to get into my kitchen; as a result, this would be an awful lot of opening to create smelly garbage. 3) Opening could be wider -- but battery area takes up some of the opening space. I imagine having to clean this cover a lot, from accidentally getting food onto it because of smaller opening. 4) Hefty Tall kitchen garbage bags - 13 gals - were too short for this trash can. Would have to put filler in bottom of trash can so trash bag doesnt pull against lid, since bag will be suspended. Or would need bigger trash bag, but you might have extra bags at the sides. Conclusion - Decided to go with simple human manual foot operated trash-can with bags made to fit it.
